This review is long overdue. I introduced my wife and her friends and some of my business colleagues to Visions Spa shortly after we moved to Novi. At first the service was outstanding and then 2 incidents forever marred our experience. The first one occurred last year. My wife was pregnant with our 3rd baby after delivering twins the year before. I sent her to the spa for a pamper session. The manager Pam looked at her heavily pregnant and recalled that we had twins the year before. She looked at my wife and said "Are you stupid?" The spa is supposed to be a place of relaxation. My wife came home in tears and felt terrible that someone called her irresponsible. This is one the most disrespectful and rude comments I have ever heard of. The second incident occurred over the last holidays. My wife prepared a surprise birthday party for myself at a local banquet hall. My wife went in to Visions Spa to get a couple of services and her makeup done for the event. The same manager Pam said to my wife that she would have to wait 2 1/2 hrs. to get her makeup done. My wife explained that she would miss the surprise birthday party, to which Pam said that’s not my problem; you still need to pay for the service. After much explanation and Pams refusal to be flexible, my wife said she was leaving and Pam said you are not allowed to come back to this Spa; you are banned from this establishment. This is not the customer service I would expect from an establishment such as this. Pam has to be the rudest most unprofessional manager. How does a local business expect to thrive with personnel like Pam?

I called to set up an appointment because someone had purchased a couple of gift certificates for me. I knew from that conversation that it was not going to be the best experience. (sorry) My massage was sooooooooooooo ruff I could not enjoy it. The girl was really nice but way to ruff. I had to tell her at least five times not to do it so hard.I left out sore!!! At one point I thought I was on a hidden camera TV show, like I was being punked and they were waiting for me to loose it. Well that wasnt the case. Upon exiting I let the front desk know that i totally did not enjoy my spa experience and they did NOT seemed concerned at all. Almost like they didnt care at all. Made me feel as I was wasting there time. Someone told me that management would be contacting me and that was almost three weeks ago and I still have not heard from anyone. The place is beautiful and under the right management (assuming that is the problem) it would probably be worth coming to again. But until then, Tamara spa here I come. PS. What ever happened to satisfying the customer?

This was by far the best day spa I have ever been to. I had received the Signature Package as a gift, so I was there for a massage, a facial, and hand & foot treatment. I loved how the day spa section was its own area, and how quiet and peaceful it was and just beautiful inside. I so appreciated all of the little touches that went so far to make me feel relaxed, welcome, and pampered. I loved the sauna I could sit in for as long as I wanted before or after services (or in between services, as the case may be). I loved how every service I had involved me getting massaged in some fashion. The robe and socks were nice, as were the snacks and beverages available in the sitting area. I loved the heated pack someone was always putting on my shoulders while I was waiting for my next service. All of the services I received were awesome, and everyone there seemed to only be interested in making sure I was as relaxed and as comfortable as possible. I have not felt that relaxed in a very long time. I wanted to move in and never leave.

Showed up for my confirmed service and a staff member had cancelled my appointment due to someone with the same name cancelling an appointment the same day. Manager never called me back-my stylist called me the next day and said I "thought" i had an appointment, but they had documentation I cancelled. She figured out while on the phone with me that my out of state number was NOT the one to cancel and told her manager who came on the phone finally after being on hold. Pam was rude and condescending and told me she would graciously offer me 25% off my service, but no more because it was a computer error and not theirs. She actually hung up on my husband when pushed about it. So, I paid a babysitter and drive there in rush hour to be treated horrible when their staff menee and program caused an error. I will take my business somewhere else where they value clients.

For my first time ever taking someone to a spa, it was a really nice experience. I purchased a massage, manicure and pedicure for my girlfriend, and took her as a surprise. The staff was really helpful in determining the services I wanted and my girlfriend really enjoyed both the mani/pedi as well as her massage. The one thing that both her and I noticed was they did not make first-time customers feel really "at home", or did not make us fully aware of what to do in between appointments. It was an overall good experience, and the staff performing the services were nice and professional, but it would have been nice to have more instructions on what to do since this was a first-time experience for both of us at a spa. We would definitely come back!

Omg! Talk about the best spa in the world. Its gorgeous and tucked away in a quiet little corner of Novi on Beck Rd. They have top of the line service providers, relaxing services and the best products on the market! They can pamper you from head to toe. Facials, mani/pedi, massage, makeup, lashes, hair and tanning! Its endless and youll feel completely like a Queen. They have a large area with boutique items for sale and their spa is completely separate from the salon. No noise or fumes just robes and relaxation. U can order lunch and dinner to go with your spa day ahead of time and its always delicious! This is my fav spa in the northern Midwest!

In an effort to turn an out of state wedding weekend (for this Wisconsin girl) into a bit of a relaxing weekend too, I found Visions online and booked a facial. My experience was *out of this world*. From being greeted at reception, to every single step of the process, I could not give higher praise. Kathleens facial was **exceptional** - and I highly recommend her! If I lived here, I would no doubt be a regular. I truly thank Kathleen and Visions staff for taking such good care and being so good at what you do - it matters, and it made a very significant and personal difference for me today. Thank you so very much.

Ive been a patron of Visions for over a decade. Carla does my eyebrows, and is very professional - always goes the extra mile to make sure Im satisfied, even flexing her treatment depending on the condition of my skin. I book with Heather P. for my hair, and she is phenomenal…I would recommend her to anyone! Efficient and on-point, every time. I see there are other, poor reviews on Google condemning the nail services and massage staff, and I cannot personally comment on that since Ive not received those services. But I can tell you that for hair and esthetician bookings, this is a very reliable spa/salon.
