I visited Shamas hoping to get my hair bleached platinum blond. After I arrived, however, the stylist did anything and everything to convince me NOT to go with my desired color, including bringing another stylist over to tell me that it was impossible. After making me feel like I had absolutely no clue about coloring hair (i.e.- belittling me), she convinced me to go along with her plan, which involved expensive highlights. The bill came to around $140, after all was said and done. Whats worse, after they colored my hair, they didnt even flat iron or blow dry it, instead telling me to go home and do it myself. Is this whats to be expected from a "high-class" salon? When I go to a salon, I expect to not only be pampered, but to actually leave LOOKING GOOD, not in need of further work that I have to go home and do myself. This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had at a salon, and I would NEVER return to Shamas. I got ripped off and didnt even get what I wanted. Thankfully, a few weeks later, I was able to find a stylist who actually could give me the platinum look that I wanted and for MUCH CHEAPER. My hair looks great! It isnt frizzled or fried. My new stylist told me that the people at Shamas are obviously idiots and have NO CLUE about what they are doing. Take my advice before blowing beaucoup bucks on this place -- SHOP AROUND!

The woman who did my color was great. No complaints there. However, the woman who cut my hair (Sarah) does not know the difference between a TRIM and a full on CUT. I asked her to cut the dead ends off only to have her cut 4 inches off the length. Also, she was using a razor blade instead of scissors and put so many layers in my hair that I cannot braid it or anything. I was in disbelief when I watched her butcher my hair from the chair. I will not go back to this salon. She (Sarah) kept telling me "youre going to love this cut". I cannot even put my hair in a low pony-tail. Therefore, I believe that she completely disregarded what I wanted done to MY hair, and took control herself. Very upset, and do not recommend.

Shamas is the best salon I have EVER been to! I am a WV native who just moved to the Perrysburg area and have been looking for a good salon. I went to Brodava first--it was just okay and I felt it was very expensive. Shamas was very reasonably priced and I was so happy with my hair. The facility is awesome and even has a bar with complimentary drinks. My colorist was Jodi and stylist was Ellie. Both did a wonderful job and I was excited to learn the salon offers so many services. Im definitely going to make this my go-to place for hair, skin, nails, etc.

I am very unhappy with my experience at Shamas Salon & Spa in Perrysburg, OH. I went in for a few highlights and my hair turned out very poorly; I was then told they could not fix it without completely redying it. Unfortunately, the customer service was even more unacceptable than the way my hair turned out. They did not show any concern that I was unhappy with their service. I was able to get my hair fixed at another local Toledo salon at a fraction of the price and without completely redying it.

I got a gift card from my Maid of Honor to get a manicure and pedicure the day before my wedding at Shamas. My manicurist was extremely friendly and easy to talk to without feeling like I knew way too much about her. She helped me pick out a polish that matched my bridesmaids dresses perfectly. And the pedicure was THE BEST I have ever had. Unfortunately, the prices are too high for me to go back, but I had a very relaxing time at Shamas. I would definitely recommend it for pre-bridal pampering!

Jodi has been cutting my hair for years, and she is phenomenal. I think she can do anything. Your hair will do things you didnt know it could do--like look wavy when its completely straight. She knows how to cut and style. The colorist I went to years ago was also fabulous. Gorgeous every time. I have stopped going to this salon because Ive found someone closer to my home where the prices are cheaper and the feel is more laid back. But if youre looking for a salon feel, youll love Shamas.

Always very friendly and professional. The Shamas team really know what they are doing. They keep up with all the latest trends and recommend the best look for you. The ladies at Shamas recognize that every person is different so they tailor and customize to the clients individual needs. Always very satisfied with the work i have had done there. Better than any other salon i have ever been to. They have a lot of experience and I can trust that they will always make me look and feel great!

I love Shamas. I have been going there for many years. I have fine thin hair and this is the only salon I have found that does a great job for me. People I dont even know have stopped me and complimented me on my cut and asked me where I get my hair done. I am always thrilled to say Shamas. The staff is wonderful, you will feel pampered from the minute you arrive. I have never had a bad experience here. The prices are very competitive. Love them. PS Jody is wonderful!

Everyone was super friendly at the salon and it was very easy to set up an appointment. My hair was a bit of a mess from going to a cheap salon prior to Shamas, I was a little indecisive and kind of apprehensive about how I wanted to have it fixed, but the hairdresser I got was super helpful and even gave me suggestions based on my hair type and the way it laid, which was something new for me. It was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Truly one of the best salons I have ever been to. I am someone who always wants to change things up with my hair and Shana delivers every single time. She always listens to me and tells me what is best for my hair type. Katelyn is also an amazing colorist. I had a million different questions and she was super sweet and helpful and the end result was exactly what I wanted.

Shamas has great technicians and colorists and treats their clients very very well. I think they could communicate more often on how often they send their stylists, colorists, etc through training. As a client, I like to know that they are all up to date on latest trends and that their employees are being trained often.

Is a shame, I thought the client was first ... Everything was going very good... until i was waiting for recommendation for my hair and the stylish person (girl with a blue hair) was stylish her hair with all the time while I was waiting 5 minutes, for her?! No, I have things to do too

I see Carol to get my nails done every 2 weeks and have done so for the last year. She is phenomenal!!! I pick out the color and she does the rest. People I dont even know comment how much they like my nails.... I have my appointments a scheduled through the end of the year.
