If I could give 0 stars, I would. Never go here. Worst choice I ever made. I had my car in there about 2 years ago for some front end repairs. They called in about a week and said it was ready. Didnt have a ride so rode my bike. I get there and look at the car and the front bumper, fenders and hood were completely unaligned and still needed some painting. I leave, wait and hear from them telling me the car is ready and while on the phone the owner says he just noticed a spot that needed to be repainted and it should be a few days. I call a week later to get an update since I never heard from them and was told they were cleaning the car and noticed a run in the paint and had to redo it again which was why it was taking longer. Finally, after having the car for just short of a month, I got the car back. 6 months later I changed my oil and when I went to close the hood it wouldnt close. It has to be slammed several times for it to close. The hood release lever under the hood is also out of position and now difficult to get too. Now a year after getting the car back, their is paint peeling. Then about 6 months after that I went to add washer fluid, try to pop the hood and the release latch inside the car wont release the hood. I have to grab pliers to pull the cable enough to release it. Bottom line, NEVER GO HERE, you will regret it just as I do.

Had my escape in there due to a rusted engine cradle. They replaced the cradle, but took them nearly 2 weeks to do so. Essentially never called to give me an update. After they had finally repaired it, I got the car back and the engine was running really poorly. I took the car back to them the next business day and they said that nothing they did would have caused the car to run poorly and they refused to look at it. I had to take the car to my regular mechanic who fixed it in under an hour. Apparently, someone at Ideal had disconnected several vacuum hoses and and an electrical connector and didnt bother reattaching. I am surprised the car ran at all. Had they at least taken a look at the car to see if there was something amiss, I wouldnt be writing this review today. It was this attitude that it couldnt be them that prompted me to write this. I asked them to remove the running boards on the car. They said they tried but they were too rusty... An auto body shop that cant remove running boards? Not ideal.. My regular mechanic had them off in under 15 min. I wont be returning to this place ever. After speaking with a couple of others that have used them, they had similarly poor experiences.

My town and country (2010) had heavy damage to the front end from an accident and i took it to ideal auto body. When i got my car back today I was shocked beyond belief at the job they had done. It looks brand new and I couldnt find one blemish on it. The car had been cleaned inside and out and drove even better before it was in an accident. Not only did they give me a loaner car at no charge, they stayed in touch with me every step of the way and kept me posted on the progress of the repairs.
