Disappointing. I brought my 2004 Corolla in for a quote for repair of a relatively minor front end collision. I explained that I didnt want to spend a lot of money on the repair as the car was old and was only worth about $3000 in good condition. JC (initials) looked at my car, took notes and said that he wold look on line for used replacement parts. He said it may take a week for the quote. A week later I called to see how the quote was coming along. JC was not available and I left a message. He did not return my call. Another week later ( I was not in a hurry and was trying to be patient) I call to see how the quote was going and again JC was not available, so I left another message. Again he did not return my call. Another week later, three now, I call and again JC is not available. This time I ask for a manager and communicated with them my frustration of no return calls let alone no quote yet. They agreed that this was no good and said they would turn my case over to another person. One day later I receive a quote by email with no explanations other than it was prepared by JC. The quote did not reflect the conversation that JC and I had and the cost was nearly as much as the car was worth. I composed a nice email communicating this information to the receptionist who sent me the email (I didnt have JCs email). Within 20 minutes the receptionist called me back. I had to reexplain my message from the email, she apparently didnt read it very well. She said the quote is what it takes to fix the car and there wasnt much that could be done about it. I explained what I originally communicated with JC and she said she would pass the message along to him. Two days later, I finally get a call from JC. He says that he remembers our conversation and will change the quote to reflect what we discussed. He said he would prepare and send it the very next day. 1 week later (a total of 4 and a half now) I still have not seen this updated quote. Needless to say, within that period of time I went to another collision shop to get another quote. This other shop in Walled Lake (it is just three letters and starts with G) gave me a quote the same day I brought my car for inspection. I did not need an appointment and I was done in about 15-20 minutes with a quote in hand. The price for repair, fixing everything that was damaged, was half of that quoted by Ladd Road Collision. Needless to say this other shop will be fixing my car. If you find their listing, I will post on their service once it is complete. Take away...shop around, get multiple quotes.

Let me tell you about Jeff. I have known Jeff for 45 years. As kids we grew up fixing our bikes painting them. Just always seem to be really good at spray painting bikes. When Jeff turned 16 he got a job at a collision shop painting cars. Its in his blood. Fast forward 28 years and I had a friend who is an accident. She hit a deer with her $50,000 infinity. I called Jeff and he came over to my friends house personally. He then made sure she was at ease and comfortable with him. 15 minutes later a tow truck came and picked up the vehicle took it to his shop and repaired it very quickly. He did a fantastic job on the vehicle. His whole crew are professionals and theyve been with them for a very long time. He ordered a rental car for her and had it delivered to her house. She was very happy with the work that Jeff did and as a friend of Jeffs he made me look good too. When you enter his shop you can see what quality is because when you come in the office is very clean and people are created whats friendly kind gestures. Im actually proud to have a friend like Jeff hes a great family man and honest businessman I wouldnt hesitate referring him again.

A month ago I was in a car accident. I have never been in this situation and didnt know where to turn. I chose Ladd road collision to fix my car. And Im damn sure glad I did. The people at ladd road collision were nothing short of amazing. From the ladys up front to everyone in the back. They were always keeping me updated on progress of my car. They always asked my input on decisions on my car and wanted me to make the decisions. Joel was extremely helpful. I recommend Joel to anybody. He genuinely cares and makes his customers feel like family. If you want the best in customer service, choose ladd road collision.

In the past two years I have used Ladd Road Collision three times. Once for a minor repair to a truck tailgate, once for a self pay repair for an older car without collision coverage and once for a larger repair to my new Minivan. Each time I have left the shop feeling great about my choice of where to take my cars. The owner Jeff has been helpful each and every time and has gone above and beyond what I would expect, weather it was for the $50 repair or the $3000+ repair. Unfortunately we have seen quite a few body shops for our vehicles over the years. This was our first experience with Ladd Road Collision. We brought in for estimate, they ordered parts, called to schedule appt and told us it would take 3 days to finish. It took 3 days. The car looks like never in an accident. They not only did a wonderful job detailing the inside, they also fixed a couple of minor things that were not part of the job. Very impressed and will be using them the next time (Which we hope is not soon) we need any collision work done. Great Job!

This was my first visit to Ladd Road Collision. I had my 2006 Buick car repairing for rear bumper bender damage. The repairing work was excellent. It is a place that gave me a good deal and good advice. I was very well satisfy with Jeffs workmanship. The workers and service personal at Ladd Road Collision are courteous and knowledgeable. Beyond excellent service and attention to detail. They were fantastic. Joel helped me every step of the way and went about and beyond to bring my car back to brand new status. The final detailing of the interior blew my mind. I gave them a dirty broken car and it came back to me a week later like it had just come off the lot. Bring them your injured cars. I have come to Ladd Road Collision several times over the years. I now drive 25 miles to come to them. Joel and Jeff have been wonderful. They explain everything, answer all questions, and make suggestions to minimize my costs (like fixing up the little dents and bruises in my car prior to selling it). I have always been satisfied with their work. I will go nowhere else.
