First off all the good review you see on here is from them offering $15 in free dry cleaning for a good review not for their good service they pay for good reviews. After going here for the last 5+ years every singling week, only to having them loose 4 pairs of pants over that time and also destroying a shirt here and their. The last straw was I paid to have a pair of pants fixed the zipper need to be resewn, after I took them home I saw they did not fix the zipper took it back and told the girl at the counter she went to find her manager and the manager said there is nothing she can do once you leave the building. I paid to have some thing fixed they did not fix it I did not check the repair on pick up because in good faith in them I would think the item would have been fixed that I paid to have fixed. The manager did not care that I spend around $1500 a year with them to clean my items and she was willing to loose my business over a $15 repair that was not done the first time. By the way half mile north on Woodward on the east side is a small dry cleaner that is family owned that is cheaper then dry clean depot and much better service and you can tell they clean your dress shirts not just press them.

Extreamly poor quality of service at the Royal Oak location. I took SEVERAL pair of jeans and a coat to be DRY CLEANED and PRESSED and what I received back was jeans that had NOT BEEN CLEANED but steamed and re-pressed. I know this because all of the jeans still had the lap and knee indentations on them after being serviced. But to further my dismay, two pair of the jeans still had very noticeable but very removable mayonnaise and chill stain (both which had been pretreated before taking the jeans) still on the "steamed" re-pressed pants! I regularly go to the location in Centerline, MI. and I have never received anything less than great work but decided to visit this Royal Oak location because its conveniently closer. I see that their convenience simply really cost you ($$$) and all theyre doing is cutting corners providing a dishonest service!!! If I didnt know the difference, I wouldnt have even known. Mr. Frank, I hope you turn your business practices around because the service I received was a pure RIPOFF!

DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!!! They do not dry clean your clothes. If your clothes dont look wrinkled when you bring them, they will just put a tag on your clothes and put them on a hanger like they were cleaned and pressed. My clothes were NOT cleaned or pressed. I still have the same stains on my clothes plus a few EXTRA stains that were not there before I brought them in. I still smell my deodorant and perfume in my clothes??????? One of my dresses has an indentation with the stain still present like someone used their nail to try and scratch the stain out?? I am so mad right now there is steam coming out of my ears. I passed a gazillion cleaners to get to this one and this is the thanks I get? I used the Dry Clean Depot on Van Dyke in Centerline before and they were awesome. The Royal Oak location sucks big time....

I was very disappointed with the service I received. On May 1, 2015 I dropped off a coat to have the buttons changed by the alterations department. I was told that the coat would be ready on May 5, 2015 after 5 p.m. I paid $26.00 for this service in advance. When I tried to collect my coat on May 5, 2015 I was told that it was "in process." I specifically asked the manager if any work had been started and if not I wanted my coat back. The manager said that I would not get a refund even if the coat was not started and that I was mistaken the coat was promised to me on May 7, 2015, even though I had the ticket with the promised date on it. The manger would not return my coat and implied that I was unreasonable. I will retrieve my coat and May 7, 2015 and never set foot in this place again.

Ive been going here since moving to the area, it initially seemed like it was too good to be true... IT WAS! Dress shirts were sloppily pressed, but acceptable. The real issue was with pants! Firstly, they CANNOT put a straight crease in a pair of pants, I had 3 pairs of pants with 2 creases down each leg. Secondly, I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt actually clean my pants, all of them still seemed dirty. Thirdly, the last pair of pants I received had mystery black lines down one leg (Im assuming from them attempting to work an iron). I simply wanted them to correct their mistake, and "clean" them again... NOPE! They put up a fight over a couple dollars and in turn lost a customer. I guess you get what you pay for, be warned.

I dropped off over 15 items to this place. They destroyed every single item. I have been to other dry cleaners that have you sign something for sensitive items that may be damaged during the cleaning process. Not only were these items not of any particular delicate state, they were all high end fashion. Im not kidding when I say EVERY SINGLE ITEM RUINED. The staff is awful, very unfriendly, rude and uneducated. The dry cleaning process is supposed to preserve the integrity and quality of well made clothes. This place completely trashed everything. Needless to say I will NEVER be returning here and sure to warn anyone away from this place. Shoot me in the foot, you get what you pay for. Absolutely awful.

HORRIBLE. I dropped off 7 dress shirts. I specifically told them I wanted the neck and underarm area to be clean. I pick up the shirts and NOTHING was done to these shirts (Not even a good smell of clean) I told them I was not satisfied, they got a little annoyed by me (noticeable) and told me they cant guarantee stains but my shirts were just dirty which is why I took them there! They told me they would clean the shirts again. I come back the next day and shirts are EXACTLY THE SAME. I just picked up the shirts and left. I dont write many reviews but I was inspired by this HORRIBLE experience. I wont be throwing away my money in this place again and I would NEVER recommend the place to anybody.

A couple of years because i lived in the area, i occasionally went to Dry clean Depot(Royal Oak). After moving a long way away i began to have my suits & other business attire sent out by my tailor to dry clean, prices were reasonable & service was good. However as my need accelerated to have clothes cleaned more frequently increased (sometimes 6-8 suits or sport coats at a time) I needed to find a cleaners that gave reliable service at the best possible prices. I decided to return to Dry clean Depot. great prices $2.99 per garment , and the service spot on. I drive over 40 miles to bulk clean my clothes. i feel Im a customer for life.

Weve only been using them maybe 10 months and the very few things I have taken there have been damaged. One sweater shrunk to the point I cant even put my arm in it (seriously it is Barbie doll size) and two sweaters came back with every button broken into pieces. PS: Lost my husbands shirts twice - they found eventually. Apparently they take no responsibility of any kind. It is terrible that businesses can get away with this. I own a business and stand behind all our processes and products. We used One Hour Martinizing for years and I never once had any problems.
