After spending hours looking at reviews online for salons in the area, I saw the great reviews for Renew. After just moving to the area, I had my fingers crossed that my pixie cut would get some love from someone who has skills and a personality. Called in and had next day appointment with Kat. She not only was great and gave me the best haircut I have likely ever had, but she clearly has a passion for what she does. Kat was friendly, funny and engaging. I came home to rave reviews from the boyfriend as well as his mom (who use to be a hairdresser) as they checked out the details. 3 days later I brought the boyfriend in for a cut as well, and picked up some Aveda product (Control paste is a must have for a short cut and 100 degree weather.) He hasnt had a haircut by a professional in 6+ years and in between has had a military-mandated buzz cut followed by the last few weeks of me cutting it. Kat was able to get rid of the bulk and create a textured lighter summer do and even asked me about how my job interview went (i.e: she listened to my chit chat 3 days earlier including detail.) I will be setting up my monthly trim with Kat on my lunch tomorrow!

I have been to this salon twice. My stylist was Gretchen. She did a wonderful job on my hair. She was polite and always had a smile on her face. Unfortunately, I will not return to this salon. My reason is that I had a sudden death in the family and needed a quick trim to fix my hair a bit. The receptionist informed me Gretchen couldnt do it nor could anyone else. This was Friday morning. She apologized and said she could make an appt. for the following Tuesday. I informed her again that I would be at the funeral by then and that at my last appt. with Gretchen was told if I ever needed a quick trim, to just "pop in". I even said that I could wait if I had to and all Id need is just a trim.....no shampoo, no style, nothing. It was very upsetting to me that a little consideration couldnt have been made for my situation.

I drive 45-minutes to get to Renew Salon for cuts, pedicures, facials and eyebrow wax. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, the service is SUPERIOR. I always come away with a great look, and they always listen to what I want to accomplish. Kat does my hair and I have never had a bad cut! I have to say the bright/clean salon coupled with the easy parking makes it an easy choice for me. Oh, and the products -- I have been using the Aveda shampoo and conditioner "Be Curly" for two months and wont go back to store-brands again! My co-workers have been commenting on my "bright skin" and I have to assume it is from the Aveda "Enbrightenment" cleanser that I also started using two months ago. Great stuff!!!

Renew Salon and Spa was the perfect place to bring my huge 8 person bridal party. The staff was incredible! They worked as true artists and made every girl look perfect and it was easy to put our full trust in what they envisioned. The atmosphere was so fun and lighthearted all morning...it was just what I needed to calm my nerves. They were so wonderful in providing us with muffins and juice, I could not have asked for more! The team that put me, the bride, together included Pam (nails), Catie (hair), and Jeff (make-up) and I would recommend them to any bride. Thank you so much for making my wedding day perfect and beautiful!

I searched for a good salon for years until a friend recommended Renew Salon and Spa. Now I wont go anywhere else. Kisten always gives a great cut, and, best of all, she teaches me how to use the right products and style my hair myself. After all, what good is a great cut if it only looks great out of the salon and not at home? The salon is bright and airy, a perfect place to be pampered. Do yourself a favor, and go to Renew Salon and Spa.

This is where Ill be going from now on! I bought a LivingSocial deal for this salon and was a bit skeptical at first because I had never heard of it, but after my visit, I know this place is amazing! For starters, theres no problem of parking! The staff is very cordial and the salon is clean and super cute. My hairstylist, Kat, listened to what I wanted and delivered. I was very impressed. Cant wait for my next appointment :)

Renew rocks! Everyone is smiling, and the staff are friendly and energetic. They all make you feel welcome, and everyone who walks out the door looks amazing. Jeff has clearly done a great job hiring his staff. Catie gives me a beautiful haircut that I can wear either curly or straight, and shes so easy to talk to. Im already looking forward to my next appointment!

Renew Salon and Spa in Saline Michigan is the best. I have been a long time client of theirs. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and laid back. I have referred a couple of friends and family members to Renew and they all remarked on how great the experience was. Their website is also clean and well organized, just like the salon itself.

Ive been going to Renew Salon and Spa since Jeff opened over 3 years ago. The atmosphere is beach like and not dark and dreary like most salons! Renew is a full service salon and Ive never been disappointed. Ive never gotten a bad manicure, eyebrow wax, or hair cut. The staff makes me feel like family. Love this place!

One of the best experiences Ive had a salon yet. I went here to get a coloring fix from a different salon. The owner went above and beyond to fix my hair and made me feel welcome. The Atmosphere is homey and the staff is very friendly and open. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great massade while getting shamppoed and the cut was very straight! Exactly what i wanted and very friendly but prices are very high!!!!! Expensive way too expensive for just a trim.
