I have passed by here numerous times & just assumed all storage places are the same. However this place looks like it is 3-4 months old, but its over 10 years old. Walked in at 4pm on Good Friday & received a very genuine & upbeat greeting from Amber. She spelled out pricing & that it was one price, all fees/insurance included . I toured the inside climate control units 4-5 of them & also checked out 3-4 outside units, Rhonda took us on a very visual & in depth tour & I was truly impressed. Although the corporate Compass website says 24 hour access, here is is 6am-10pm They sell boxes & moving supplies & rent Uhauls too. Also if your by chance running a business out of your unit, they accept package deliveries on your behalf, nice benefit. Super Duper clean facility & Amber Brown the property manager is the sweetest person ever~

We sold our home in April of this year. We went to Tennessee to find a place to live but that didnt work out so we were very happy to move back to Michigan. We have been homeless since the sale of our house. We fortunately have wonderful family and friends to help us. All the times weve paid our bills each month weve had very friendly reminders from Jessi. She is a very courteous and respectful and helpful person. This facility has always been clean. I do have another storage unit elsewhere but definitely not as friendly. Im only paying a little bit more at Compass and couldnt be happier. Ive interviewed other storage facilities and not once was anyone as friendly and helpful as Jessi. We have since bought a house and will finally be moving in a couple weeks. Thanks Jessi

Rented a Uhaul from this location on 11/30. The girl in the front is the most rude, unprofessional, clueless, ignorant person I have dealt with this year, and that is saying something as I own a roofing business, and deal with rude ignorant people all day. She made charges up at the end of the process, for items I never rented. When I complained, she told me to LEAVE THE PROPERTY or she would CALL THE COPS. I had to return with Shelby PD to resolve the issue. It was completely rediculous. Never again. Go rent from a different location and save yourself a ton of trouble.

Had a very stressful move ahead of me and needed a truck, I had to change my date several times and the lady that worked there Jessi, was so helpful,accommodating and friendly. The day of the truck pick up I assumed I would be hit with some more charges and or fees and wasnt, she was very honest and up front with pricing, I really appreciated that. She made a very stressful day start out great. Ive already referred someone to her for storage needs and they said the same thing, how friendly and helpful she was. Thanks Jessi for all your help!!!

I drove by in need of a rental truck because I was frustrated with trying to find what I needed on line......So GLAD I did!!! They were able to answer my questions....find my a truck and a unit for much cheaper than I found anywhere else. The storage company I was planning on going to could not fit me in to view their units (this is another reason why I showed up on Compasss doorstep), they were professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to do business with. Very, very clean units - would strongly recommend this company!!!

Nothing wrong with the place people are good, but once you have your things moved in they raise your rates. Its not like you are going to pick up and move everything out to a new place. They have you by the short ones, and if you are late on your payment watch out!! My monthly payment is around $100 after they added late fees it was almost $170. The lesson Ive learned is Ill be better off if have a fire sale and sell all of my things because the money im paying to get jerked around is not worth it.

We rented here about 8 years ago and were impressed. Rented again yesterday and again impressed. Dave, the manager was wonderful. We are extremely thrilled with how clean everything is. No scuff marks on the walls, etc. considering the age of the facility. We also saw Dave making rounds on the property, check to make sure all of the hits were locked and secure. Make you feel good about leaving your processions there.

I highly recommend compass storage to anyone looking for a storage unit!! Jess C. was very helpful and friendly, when i was originally getting my unit and when i was moving my stuff out of the unit. They were very clean and easy to access, all while reasonably priced. Even renting the uhaul from them was easier than most other places I have used over the years. I will be using them again if I ever need to store again.

I just recently moved from Romeo. Moving a 3000 sq ft home to a 1500 sq ft home comes with issues such as space! Jessica solved that problem for me! She was fantastic everything that could not fit in my new home was safely stored. We showed up after looking online for a storage facility we were not sure what to expect but found the gentleman to be extremely friendly and helpful while I noticed the facility was very clean compared to some of the others we looked at I didnt feel uncomfortable or feeling like I was looking over my shoulder while unloading our belongings I feel very confident our new locker will be safe. 5 stars

Jessica was awesome, I was running late due to traffic to come sign papers to rent a unit, I called and told her I would be about 5 minutes late, shes said no problem and stayed open till I got there. The place is kept clean, and its well lite, which is nice, especially with it being the winter months and how early it gets dark out. Definitely will be doing more business with Jessica in the future.

I reserved a 10/10 storage unit today after printing the online coupon. The coupon was for first month free ... certain restriction apply. Well, the certain restriction was that the first month is not free. Very misleading and the primary reason I went to Compass in the first place. The young man at the front desk was very professional and helped me with the reservation.

I agree ,that the compass storage is clean and secured. However, the military discount was only good for one month which I am okay with.. I ,have been with the company since Nov 28, 2014, we have received a rental increase on Jun 29, 2015 and another increase six months later on January 28, 2016. The beginning rate was $145 per month and now it is $174 per month.
