Im sorry to say it but I was dissapointed by this establishment. First, they advertise that you can move in for $1.00. That is to get you in the door and it gets worse from there. It turns out that they dont have any units that qualify for this "special". Take the advertising down until you get a unit or 2 that qualify. Secondly, I was shown a 5×10 unit and it looked small so I grabbed my tape measure and as I started to measure the associate says that unit sizes are approximate. It turns out it is only a 4×10. Fully 20 % smaller. I asked if I could get 20% off the bill and I was told no. Later I asked what is the next largest unit was and I was told it is a 7.5×10. I figured if they can measure 4 foot and call it 5 but measurements are approximate, how off the 7.5 measurement would be? Then there are the fees like a lock that can only bought from them for $20.00, and you have to buy insurance for $11.00 monthly minimum. The kicker is when I asked if they pro-rate the rent when you move in. I was told yes. It turns out that they "pro-rate" the second month. In other words, you pay a full month whenever you move in plus you have to pay the extra days till the end of the month for the second month. That is not pro-rating. That is against the law if they were renting apartments instead of storage units. I do have to say that their associate named Andy was professional. I dont know how this place stays in business when there are better options out there.

First day I had the unit I got locked in the perimeter gate for a little over an hour. I was there after 5 on a Sunday and no on site employees were there. I called customer service for help. They gave me other passwords to try, but I had no luck. After about 40 minutes on the phone, they finally told me to leave my truck and have someone pick me up. I stated that was unacceptable and I was told to call the "non emergency contact number". I asked for the number and was told it is my local police/fire department. The conversation was ended and I was in shock. Only after another person came to store their items i was able to become free. I received a voice mail from them 2 weeks later. I never returned the call because I wanted to talk to them in person. I finally drove there and talked to the clerk, was offered nothing for the inconvenience. I got my stuff and left!

I have rented a storage unit at this facility for about a year now. I was at first very nervous about using a storage facility to begin with as this was my first time. I found the manager, Chris, to be very professional in the manner of easing my concerns. Access in and out of the facility, condition of the unit itself, and most of all, the insurance. She eased my concerns and worries to the fullest allowing me to have a very good feeling about using the facility. Now, almost a year later, she has continued to be pleasant and helpful in every way. Now I know her professionalism and working with the public, is the reason why I was so satisfied with my decision. I highly recommend this location to anyone who takes time to read reviews. Terry

Please READ!! This place is a scam and uses false advertised pricing scheme to get you in. They force you to buy a less than $5 lock (I checked) for $19 dollars. Next, after they take you to locker to see it, try to convince you that you need to purchase their overpriced plastic tarps. Next, the final straw is that they also force (Mandatory) an $11 insurance fee per month. None of these hidden fees or tricks were listed on my move in sheet. That is not a good ethical business practice by any means. Anyone else experience this or care to add? This needs to be known!

Horrible customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere because of it. They sold me the wrong item upon moving in and then refused to refund me the amount back. They refused a refund of $8.49; seriously they are that greedy. They do not know what customer service is and do not care. Would never use this business again. If they are willing to lose customers over 8$ then this establishment has serious problems. Stear clear of Robbin, she is rude and absolutely no help in rectifying any problems.

I am very happy with this storage facility. I compared prices everywhere online in my area and this was the best monthly price. Leah was so friendly she really took the time to find a unit to fit my needs. I was a previous tenant 2yrs ago and she helped me back then and even remembered me. She told me then to hold on to my key in case I needed to use the space again. I did and that saved me money on having to purchase another one. Very happy with this company. Super clean also!!

Robbin is the worst rudest person you can deal with . she sent me a statement for one amount and then I go in there and the system says something else. Robbin thought it was funny and want me to pay more I told her no and she started laughing I asked her if she thought it was funny and she said yes. I had to call corporate customer service to get my credit . dont ever go there if Robbin is there walk out and wait for someone else. I cant see how they can employee someone like her.

Robbin was very kind as soon as I walked in and very complementary by helping me with multiple questions about storage payments, I would highly recommend anyone to this public storage because of their courteous and knowledgeable staff. Also of note, Jess of the West Utica Road in Shelby Township MI,and Kelley out at the Newburgh Rd Public Storage in Livonia MI, also deserve mention for their courteous and knowledgeable service also. 5 stars.

My location is the groesbeck location but since I moved to marine city this location is where I pay my bill. Leah is so great even allowing me to make my payment once when I showed up on the last day of the month late. After she should have been gone home. She was finishing up some stuff and let me in n took my payment. I love the place n space n people. Leah has great customer service skills n is awesomely friendly.

Nichole is awesome! I had the pleasure of having her assist me as I prepare to transfer my unit to a larger size and she has absolutely great customer service. I am really glad that I met her and look forward to working with her in the future. Ill definitely recommend that my friends who need a storage unit contact Nichole. At this location, the service is great and I am very pleased with the storage property.

I have rented storage units from several places in the past, and this Public Storage is BY FAR the best location I have ever used! The property manager, Leah, is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and should teach a class on what excellent customer service truly is! This Public Storage location is always maintained well and is in an excellent location. Highly recommended!!!
