I went to this store today searching for a replacement laptop for school. I knew what I wanted and went in with my wife by myside. After looking at a very poor selection (quantity wise) the two salesmen that were within 6-10 feet of me. Talking to each other about BS and geek movies, not once asking if we needed assistance. I saw a description and price for a toshibia i was interested in, but there wasnt a display. I wanted to take a look at it and play with it to see if it would fit my needs, as well as compare it to another model on display. After I finally flagged down one of the dip shi*t employees near me jerking around, they said they had a few in stock. I asked to see one, and they brought me out the box after a 5ish minute wait. I went to open it up to see what it looked like (it was in a plain brown box with no pics) and try it out. He informed me I could not do that since they had no room to display it once I took it out of the box. I asked him if he expected me to buy it site unseen without even testing it out for my needs, he said yes. Then I asked well if I buy it take it home for the weekend and it is not what I like, can I return it? He said ofcourse but I would be charged a 20% restock fee which came out to over $100 for a laptop I would not even want!!!!!! Buyer beware, after an exchange of words I left promptly and vowed to tell my tale and never return. I am not a window shopper I find out what I need, research it and buy!!! I was prepared to walk out with a comp TODAY their loss!!!!! Fn As*ho*les in this economy they should do anything to make a sale. In contrast Micro Center, has many products to choose from, a very very knowledgable staff and very willing to help without trying to sell you stuff u dont need!!!! I recomend them very highly I have bought over 5 computers, 2 large LCD TVS, and accessories from them and recommend them to all my friends and family. They are also a authorized Apple dealer and repair center. I will be going there tomorrow to buy my new laptop!!! Office Depot just happened to be closer to my house today thats why I went there first, but Micro Center is worth the drive and their prices are amazing on all things electronic!!!!!!

I have to say that anyone calling a salesperson vulgar while he was shopping on EASTER is quite ironic. I have been in this store( although not on EASTER because I have family at home who love me) and I am always being helped. Your story has a few holes especially when you claim that they were less then 10 feet away but yet you had to flag them down. Sounds fishy, hell you having a wife sounds even fishier. Its ok its 2010 you can say filipino boyfriend, dont be scared.If there were no pics of this PC why were you going to buy it, just cause it was cheap or something? Nice work Marcus way to think things through. Im sure Micro Center really is glad to have you. Anyone that is lonely enough to shop on holidays hould be very loyal to anyone that can put up with them.
