Their technicians are friendly and reasonably good at what they do. While appointments arent technically required, they appear to always be understaffed enough that youre going to need an appointment as often as not, save for the days immediately AFTER a major holiday. Which brings me to my one grief...in the last twelve months, I have had to make an appointment more often than not (I generally get a haircut once a month). Of those appointments, *THREE* of them were never entered into their appointment calendar, leading to a very rude surprise when I arrived. Once is an accident, and I wont even really be annoyed. Accidents happen. Twice is someone being lazy, distracted, or incompetent. Annoying, but it happens. I can live with it. Three, though? Now its intentional - someone there just cant be bothered to actually write down the appointments they make. And I can guarantee you its not because of me - I make a point of being friendly and sticking to non-controversial topics when talking (like pets). Having worked service myself, I REFUSE to be rude to service personnel, no matter what. Anyway, since they obviously arent interested in my business, I am taking it elsewhere, and I recommend you take yours elsewhere as well.

I had a mishap with the at home coloring experience...I went to Shear Excellence for the first time, I always see people going in and out constantly, so I figured I would call them to see if they could help with my hair emergency. Carol, the owner, got me in as soon as I was able to the very next day, she put me with Stacy. Its always nerve wracking going to a new salon and a new stylist. I told her what I had visioned in my head as to what I wanted...I could not stop looking at it once she was finished! I absolutely LOVED what she did with my hair; the color, the highlights...all of it! She did such an amazing job! I definitely will be going back to her! :)

The employees are all very nice and friendly, especially Sarah! The owner, Carol, runs a very nice business and knows how to make sure all customers leave there happy with their service! Never had any problems and have been going there for years! I highly recommend this place!

I told the lady she was putting my daughters tinsel in wrong and she insisted she knew what she was doing...needless to say it lasted two hours and I retied it at home the right way and its still in....what happened to the customer is always right?? NEVER AGAIN!!!
