Having been a high level athlete, and trained high level athletes, it is always a challenge to find some sort of exercise that trains the body to become better than it already is. CrossFit is that unique blend of exercises, that encompasses all aspects physical training. Unlike traditional gyms and fitness programs, which can only offer limited strength training and cardiovascular training equipment, CrossFit trains in speed, quickness, agility,balance, strength, anaerobic and aerobic endurance, explosion and power, just to name a few components. Unlike most programs, it uses athletic movements and exercises. This is where CrossFit is different then others. I personally have been doing CrossFit for a year and a half, and everyday I walk into Stay Strong CrossFit is a challenge, no matter how many advances Ive made in my conditioning. Everyone from the novice, who has NEVER worked our in his or her life, to professional and olympic athletes, can and will benefit from this program. Workouts are tailored to the athletes skill level and can be made easier or harder depending on the abilities of the athlete. At Stay Strong CrossFit the staff is amazingly skilled at helping athletes find their potential and they challenge their athletes to be their best every single day. They are always available to help, whether it is a new skill for a person, or they are always willing to give tips and hints to help you with a certain skill. They, along with the rest of the athletes, are very encouraging as well. Coming to CrossFit is no walk in the park, and you share this experience with the rest of your fellow athletes. At the end of the workout, you share a common bond with your fellow athletes...you all pushed your way through the workout to make yourselves better. With that, you attain a unique camaraderie with the group that goes further than just the workouts. I recommend StayStrong CrossFit to anyone who is SERIOUS in wanting to better themselves physically. It isnt easy, but StayStrong CrossFit will help you attain your physical goals.

Stay Strong CrossFit has not only improved my fitness but has become my family! I belonged to a Global Gym for over 14 years, thought I was getting a good two hour work- out and eating right but never saw the results. After getting thru the first month of CrossFit, the soreness lessened and results happened! I was seeing myself transform both physically and mentally. The fear of becoming bulky quickly vanished when my clothes were fitting looser. The intimidation of lifting weights disappeared when I continued to hit new PRs (Personal Records). Everyone around me helped to celebrate those milestones and continue to do so! After 1.5 years of living the lifestyle I took the next step on getting my Level 1 CrossFit Certificate. I gained more knowledge of the "sport" and was taught how to coach others about the thing I grew to appreciate so much. Aside from wanting to teach the importance of form and technique, I want to spread the word on how much CrossFit and Stay Strong has influenced my life. My 59 year old Dad tried out CrossFit 2 years ago when he wanted to add strength to help his triathlon performance. He now competes as a Masters for local competitions and had his sights on bigger goals. I have a group of friends that I honestly can call them family. We are all individuals who have professions that make us unique and balanced in life. But when we walk into the "box" we are all athletes who support each other with our goals. I encourage anyone to try out their local CrossFit gym! If you are in our area... I encourage you to try out Stay Strong CrossFit. CrossFit is a community inside and outside of the gym walls!

Every now and then if youre lucky, something comes along in life that totally enlightens you to an area you were previously completely blind to, and then all of a sudden you begin to "get it". StayStrong Crossfit is one of those life-changing scenarios for me. I used to be a member at Lifetime Fitness, and hated it for sooo many reasons, mostly because I spent allot of time and money doing something that was tedious, boring, stale and dreaded ... all to get minimal results. StayStrong has made me fitter than Ive ever been in my life, while at the same time changing going "to the gym" from something I had to do, to something I love to do. The fitness level you attain at StayStrong makes everything in life better and easier. You feel good about the way you look which helps you feel happier about yourself in general, but the fitness level you achieve gives you more energy in everything you do from work and play, to activities with family and friends. So for me, I gave up silly and monotonous things like bicep dumbbell curls, lat pull-down machines and bosu balls, for true life-changing fitness measured by things like endurance, agility, flexibility, stamina, strength and lean muscle that I build while having an absolute blast with people who have become valued friends and positive contributors in my life. If you’re reading this, you need to come out and give StayStrong a try. What have you got to lose? It’s only an hour of your time, and it may very well change your life . . . just like it did mine.

Tired of having to drag yourself to your local gym? Too tired to workout? Dont know what muscle groups to work when? Realizing that the only reason you went in the first place was to attempt to get that "summer" body (semi) ready for beach season? I know I was before trying out Stay Strong Crossfit. Being a former college athlete, trying to keep up the workouts on my own without a trainer by my side programming for me became a challenge that eventually disappeared. Before I knew it, the gym became less of a habit and more of a success when I went twice per week. I missed the competition against myself. My competitive fire was going out. Stay Strong Crossfit changed all of that. Before I knew it, working out was anything but that. It was fun again. Intense, competitive, challenging, humbling, addicting. Every workout sucked, but in the best way possible. Missing a day or two was no longer due to laziness, but to recovery so that the next workout could be done better, faster, stronger. I used to think the programming was ridiculous. Now, I am an advocate for crossfit, the community, the lifestyle, the commraderie, the friendships. Crossfit is a way of life, and Stay Strong Crossfit is my box. Stay Strong! Do Work! I recommend joining this box if you are remotely interested in bettering your life. The trainers are there. The programming is made. Just get in and get in real shape!

Stay Strong CrossFit is life changing in the best way possible! I have always been a competitive athlete, but when my college softball days were over, I found myself slipping into a rut/slump/whatever you want to call it. Stay Strong CrossFit has brought out my inner competitor after I had hid it away for a few years, but I am competing against myself-to be better each day, and to make strides and improvements in my fitness level that I never would have imagined! You will WANT to push yourself when youre here, especially with the support of the coaches and other crossfitters at the box-its the greatest atmosphere Ive experienced, and it has truly given me a new outlook on myself, what Im capable of, and how I approach any obstacle in life; I am so thankful for SSCF becoming such a huge part of my life. In the past, I always turned my back on anything that I wasnt good at or things that I was afraid I would fail at-CrossFit has definitely changed that, and now I look forward to every new challenge and WOD with an open mind. Youll get sore, tired, frustrated, mad-but for some reason I guarantee youll keep coming back for more! Do Work SSCF!
