I have always done business with Real Estate One in Clarkston. For many years now. I recently found out that they hired someone who was recently pushed out of a company for his mistreatment of employees and customers. James Altene was the GM of the Best Buy in Auburn hills. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with him there on a number of occasions. After learning how he treated his employees there first hand, and how I was treated as a customer, I refused to do anymore business there while he had a job with Best Buy. Seeing him handle a situation in a very sexist way was the last straw for me. His entire management team left him before he finally got pushed out of the company by his superiors. I have since been back to the store and talked with the employees who went though it (not many left from what they tell me) and now the store employees are much happier. Not to mention as a customer I will shop there once again, and the feel of the store is much improved. Now shopping there and starting to know the employees again, I have learned that a big problem for James was that he was a compulsive liar from the employees that were there working for him. I just warn Real Estate One and any client that thinks of using this office to please be aware of James Altene. I would hate for him to do to you what he did to hundreds of employees at Best Buy. From this point forward I will not do business with a company who employs this person.
