So this review is for service Ive gotten over the past three years. I havent gone there often enough because of everything thats happened to me there, so Ill be brief. I started going there when I moved to Minnesota. My hair was severly damanged from dying and bleaching it too close together, and it was super dry and brittle. It had grown out enough however, for my roots to show. I decided to cut most of my hair off so I could regrow it and get rid of the dead stuff. The first time I went in, the woman I worked with took one look at the cut I wanted and one look at my hair and was almost against doing it. Not because she thought the cut wouldnt work, but because she didnt like it. I had to practically fight her on this, telling her it was my hair and not yours. Finally, she agreed to do it and got started. NOW, comes the worse part. I have extremely thick hair which I told her off the bat. She tried to put my hair in a ponytail and cut it. Broke her scissors. You can clearly tell shes not listening to me when I say my hair is thick. Afterwards, she makes comments about how she would never let her daughter cut her hair this short blah blah. Im quiet the whole time because I want this awful experience to end. Finally, she finishes. She altered the haircut that she didnt like without my approval and said "OK all done!" At the time, I was too nice to say something and too angry as well. Flash forward to about six weeks later, I went in to get the cut trimmed. I knew I had a pretty bad experience before, but I had (and still have) a gift card that makes the cut only $9.99. I figured at that price I can go back and get a trim with someone else and maybe it was just the stylist and everything will be good! I ended up having the same stylist (just my luck lol) and she ruined the cut AGAIN. It was crooked on both sides and all sorts of a mess. At the time, I was working over 40 hours a week only making $8 an hour and couldnt afford more. I ended up never going back after that. So now lets talk about this year. I was looking for a cut for my bangs for a job interview. I had managed to go somewhere else since I was making more money, but hit a financial crisis after I was let go from a job due to poor management. I was interviewing for a job the next day and needed a trim up for my bangs. I had been putting off coming to great clips because of my previous experiences and finally decided just to do it. LUCKILY the cut was only $9.99 because this was worse than before. I went in and there was no wait to get a haircut. Yay! I was put in chair by another stylist who was luckily not the stylist I had before (but she was there lol). I had a style I was looking for that was super simple and close to what I already had. The woman sat me down, and I could already tell she wasnt paying any attention to me so I was a little nervous. She kept looking a the photo so I was feeling a little better, but she was still distracted by everything around her. She didnt talk to me even once during the whole thing and there was a child running around. She was more interested in the child instead of me and even was cutting my hair while watching the child. She ended up cutting my hair crooked and didnt even come close to how the picture looked (it was exactly how my hair was originally too, she altered it) After all my experiences at this great clips, I will not be coming back. It seems like they dont care anything about what I want, or even enough to pay attention to their customers! Sucks too, I still have a gift card with two more haircuts on it.

I have only been here once. The staff was super friendly so that is not an issue. However, I just wanted a trim and the back of my hair to be taken off my collar. The stylist cuts too choppy. I expect choppy with a razor not scissors. Its definitely $15 quality work. As kind as she was, I will not return. Im trying to grow my hair out, it was all one length on the long side, but now its several lengths and choppy.

Today my sons bangs were cut ALL the way off a few days before school starts. The least the my could have done would have been to acknowledge their mistake and be professional about it. But she did not say a word and they had me pay for his butchered haircut. This will be our last trip to this location.

Today my mom went to that great clips for the first time & IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Staff was horrible, the lady that cut my Moms hair did a terrible job. It wasnt what she expected. My mom even showed her a picture of how she wanted it and the lady did what she wanted. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN !!

Some other reviews says that they did not like the hair cut here. As it is a personal taste in style I must say other wise. I have had better hair cuts from other places but this place is not that bad either, although not the best out their either.

Had two bad experiences one they cut my hair way shorter than I said to and then just yesterday I got my daughters hair cut and its uneven and when we got home she had hair all over her now gotta go back anger it fixed
