Dont give these guys your phone number or email as they will spam you to death, even after you tell them to stop calling you. Its always the class-less businesses that do this! And every ten minutes they play some of their company commercials on their radio system so you have a choice of being bombarded with repetitive commercials or get a set of ear-phones... 90+% of those going to LTF have headphones... so there is little to no socializing at the New Hope location. The staff is mixed for being polite and friendly. A while back i stopped and asked a woman fitness coach for a jump rope when she was sitting at the desk and she said they were up at the front desk. Even though someone gave me one from that same desk drawer two days prior and then again two days later (from someone different). I told her it’s right in that drawer just open it and check… she would not even open the drawer. For some reason the fitness coaches find being helpful difficult as she is not the only one to be obstinate when asked for a jump rope. As a side note jump ropes cost $2, why not leave them out in the first place. It seems really odd when you have employees and they do not understand who it is who pays their check… that would be the customer. When a business does not treat their customers well, I go elsewhere and why would you spam, cold call and run commercials to paying customers! The equipment and offered classes are very good for the price. But for me its not worth going to a gym if the atmosphere is wrong and company policy continually finds ways to irritate you.

We have been members for quite a few years. I joined for the hydro-training classes, the times fit my schedule. We have found instructors (Angie, Marie, Shanna, Oksina, Joy and Laurie) at numerous clubs (New Hope, Plymouth, Fridley, St Louis Park, Maple Grove) to be personable and very supportive of of our work out goals. They have always been encouraging, as in try new classes, new routines programs available. Oksina in Plymouth has placed orders on line for swim shoes for many many participants. (A very time consuming process she does outside of her time working at Lifetime.) I love this gym and am grateful everyday I belong. We always come home to the New Hope gym for our workouts. The manager (Lindsey) has gone beyond our expectations on any issues we have had. Daphne, the nutritionist (I think is her title) has been helpful on our journey to discover new ways of eating. Because of all this support, we have started working with a personal trainer (Elliot). We have found you get out what you put in and our experience with the New Hope Lifetime has been a win-win for us. We love the options of being able to go to any of the gyms. I would like to add, a Thursday or Friday night hydro class would be really nice. Thank you.

1.) The showers are basically prison showers. No dividers or curtains basically one big shower that everyone goes into at the same time. Not a fan. 2.)The weight room has been expanded recently, causing me to upgrade my review. They added an extra room that has all new equipment that is great for crossfit and olympic weight lifting, and a more private workout. Basically there will always be enough squat racks as long as they are not using the room at the moment which has not been a real problem so far. 3.)My biggest complaint besides the showers and the primary reason I do not use this club more often even though I live close to it is the schedule the club operates under. It is not a 24 hour club like all of the other locations, not sure why. I do not drink or party on weekends hence I like late night workouts and will route them to Maple grove or Plymouth quite often.

This is a well-maintained Life Time location which offers limited choices in equipment and space. For me, there are squat racks and bench presses and dumbbells, which provides enough for my resistance training, and the short walking/jogging track around the perimeter offers some cardio. The other guests seem happy with the machines (which I dont use), and I remember having a positive response from a team member when I asked a question. This location has no swimming pool, no basketball court, and only one class area which isnt fully private, and the showers have no wall or door barriers ("prison-style" some say but which I dont mind). Overall this location can work well if your exercise variety is limited to the amenities.

I was a member of LTF in Maple Grove for a year but quit recently. the parking lot is always full and you have to spend a lot time driving around to find a parking place, then walk a long way to get in when it is -20 outside. because womens changing room is always overcrowded you cant have any privacy, unless you like being bumped. the equipment is always busy, especially after work and at the weekends. given the money they charge they could certainly offer a better service. there are already lots of people in there and they continue to recruit more and more. I will definitely not recommend this place to my friends.

I am a member of lifetime fitness for years. I just moved to this place (Crystal) a couple months ago. This place look fantastic but Sauna and steam room are lacking of maintain. If you get a chance, please step in the back of swimming pool, you will smell it. I dont know who is the suppervisor of this location. Get some work done or you lose more customer.

I have only been there for a month and it is a great gym BUT I am new to working out and I expected to be shown how to work certain equipment and they never showed me. Not only that the receptionists in the front are rude. The trainers etc are nice. I am paying $53/month which is fine but I feel like I was constantly pushed to get a trainer which I dont need.

Lifetime is great,. The locker rooms are very clean, equipment is high end, sturdy and always available, and most of their free and cable weight equipment is doubled up on, so you can always complete your routine. Best Gym for real people, who want real, no nonsense results. Join!!!!

I think this place is small, but very well maintained for a Bronze-level gym. They have state of the art treadmills, which I found rather amusing and entertaining. The staff seemed very nice and helpful, locker rooms clean. Would go to this one again.

Very clean, friendly staff. Convenient hours. Missed a 5/5 due to a lack of a few usual machines. They make up for it with other options but I still miss things like a proper Hack Squat machine, or a seated row that went past 180lbs.

Not a bad club, I used to belong to it when it was Ballys. Unfortunately if you want to work out after work get ready to fight to find and finish 3 sets on a machine or use the treadmill (if any are available) you want.

Like everything except the wide open showers. Layout of gym is very nice. Would like a speed and heavy bag somewhere in the place for 5 stars, I mean they are just two little pieces of equipment.
