Not impressed - this childcare center has communal pacifiers (gross!), doesnt follow requirements on handling of breast milk, both staff and parents enter the infant room with shoes on, and the bibs and blankets look like they are 20 years old - very tattered and stained, yet staff wouldnt use the brand new bibs I provided. Staff only checks diapers every 3 hours (vs. 2 at all others centers I spoke with) and subsequently, 2 of the first 4 days my son only had his diaper changed twice in the 9+ hours he was there. Youd think they would check his diaper before putting him down for a nap if he was almost due for a change, but they would only check if it had been at least 3 hours! Apparently, you need to inform the staff that youd like diaper changes more frequently since you cant count on them to use common sense in that department. Multiple times staff members mixed up belongings between children, such as pacifiers and soiled clothing. After our experience during the first week, I decided to find a new center. I even tried to resolve our issues by speaking with the director after our first 4 days, but was treated like I was being ridiculous and continued to have issues. We had to wait for an opening at the new place, or we would have left sooner. This place is cheaper than other centers, but I would definitely recommend paying slightly more! We have been so much happier with our new center, which has a high Parent Aware rating and is totally worth the slightly higher cost!

My now 8 month old twin boys have attended since late January and we could not be happier! We started at Learn & Grow South and that was not a good fit so I was worried about what we would face here and it has been like night and day. I love that the infant room staff are mostly younger as I feel they have a lot more patience with infants and more willing to play and entertain them on the floor and give attention. The director Stephanie has been great to work with and the staff has been amazing and so patient answering all of my "new mom" worries and questions about any and everything I have asked. Most importantly, my boys seem to be happy here as they are usually smiling at pickup. I also love the little art work they send home frequently like paintings, if you will, that include their little foot prints. I really hate that we are moving from the area soon and even toying with maybe making the hour drive back here every morning to drop them off...

My son has been going to Little Red Wagon in Blaine since the beginning of the year. We have been thrilled!!! The staff in the infant room is great, they are always happy and from day 1 have greeted my child every morning with a positive attitude! The director has been great about responding to any questions or concerns I have had as a first time mom! I would definitely recommend Little Red Wagon to anyone in the Blaine/Fridley/Spring Lake Park area who is looking for daycare!!!!
