This place is amazing! Super helpful and a BIG selection! (& super inexpensive!) For those nights you really want to "rent a movie"!!! Just when i thought movie stores were a thing of the past..... I accidentally drove past "Movies on 35th" and literally Screamed in my car, "RIGHT ON!!" , and slammed on my brakes to head inside. Thanks for being there MO35TH! Ill see you later this afternoon for a couple flicks!

The guy charges a $5 "screw you" fee for first time renters. Combine that with $5 new releases and $3.50 regular rentals, and it would have cost $8.50 to rent a 10 year-old movie. I drove 6 blocks away to the Cheapo on Lake street and bought the movie for $5.95. The selection was decent, but I would only recommend going here if youre desperate and dont mind paying $8.50-$10 for a rental.

You can count on Tim, the owner, to be behind the counter every time you visit. Hes a great guy who will talk to any customer, age 3 to 103, any time about movies or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. Hes got all the new releases, and TONS of old titles. I hope that places like his last forever, as they are what make special neighborhoods, like Powderhorn, special.

OMG!! A real video rental store! Dvd rental & Blu-Ray rental - I couldnt be happier. I really wanted to watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and lo-and-behold, they had it! Lots of selections from classics to new releases. If you miss Blockbuster movie rental, you just found your new happy place. Very organized and great prices.

I dont know if they changed their prices recently, but Ive been catching up on breaking bad and its only 2.25 per disc. Ive rented new releases for less then three bucks. Never had a problem with employees....all of them friendly and will chat you up on something if you ask. Aces in my opinion!

First of all this is one of the only movie stores around but even if there was Block Busters and other Big corporations I would chose this any day because of its great service and they have just about every movie I want see including new releases. I highly suggest Renting movies here!

So happy a place like this exists. Had 2 movies I was really wanting to watch but were unavailable on Netflix, found them both here. Great selection and great experience. You can actually go out and rent a movie and buy some popcorn!

I love this place. Small, but they have a good selection. Staff is friendly. Prices are fine. I actually enjoy the experience of going to a movie store and renting a movie with my lady friend. And usually they let my doggy in:)

No way! A classic, small store, video rental shop still exists?!?!? Great store, great selection, friendly/knowledgeable staff. Has that feel of a favorite neighborhood music store. Back when those still existed.

Cute small movie store, great prices, great selection, (they even have a Miyazaki section!) New and old releases, and a great atmosphere. Im assuming the owner is who works at the desk, he is very nice as well!

Tim is amazing. Who else is gonna rent you movies and bust your chops at the same time... Sure as hell wont be Netflix or Amazon. Support the local people in the neighborhood
