They have a HUGE selection of movies to rent and piles of candy, from modern to vintage styles that you can buy by the pound, and all kinds of unusual and fun soda pop. Theres a theater in the back of the store that you can rent out for viewings, parties, meet-up groups, etc. that is comfy and comes with all you can eat popcorn from an old-fashioned popcorn machine. Seriously, were talking about 20,000 titles of everything from turn-of-the-century rare silent films to the newest new releases on both DVD and Blu-Ray. Theres a whole shelf just for Hitchcock films. Theres another whole shelf for all those bizarre drive-in movie Sci-Fi and Horror low-budget flicks from the 50s and 60s. Tons of the movies available for rent arent even available on Netflix or Hulu, and many are rare finds and cult gems you wont see anywhere else. The owner, Trevor, is a true cinephile, and is always happy to recommend something in any genre or time period of cinema. Hes seen thousands of films over the years and is well versed in both cult classics and critical masterpieces. In response to a couple of negative reviews: kids running around the store? Seriously? Thats your complaint? Its a family store full of candy, laughter, and movies. Its not a porn movie rental place. Nor is it a funeral home. Get a life. The world needs more mom and pop places like this. Blockbuster and its ilk are gone and good riddance. Movies and Candy provides a lovely local plethora of movies upon movies upon movies. If you do think of something that he doesnt have for rent, Trevor will probably go right onto the Internet and try to find a copy to get in. Hes amazing that way. Ive sent everyone I know here, from my friends to my hairstylist. Everywhere I go, I talk about how amazing Movies and Candy is. You should go there to! See it for yourself!

LOVE THIS PLACE! When we first walked in and noticed the selection we knew it was a gem. My daughter is 7 and absolutely loves coming with me to rent a movie. (Its a much better experience and more fun than walking up to a redbox) They have everything new and all the great older films too, even down to every Barbie film imaginable. The owner is extremely nice to everyone. We mentioned one new movie (like a D film) that they didnt have; the owner ended up ordering it and having it by the next time we visited so we could rent it. We have decided to rent here rather than go to to redbox because we love that we are supporting local business and we want this place to stay open!

I went into Movies and Candy out of curiosity. The store was playing a French film very loudly. I browsed around with my fiance. We were not greeted. The man at the counter did not acknowledge us at all. I was not impressed with the environment. The selection of movies and candy was ok but not the best organization. I did not buy anything and do not plan to return.

Hollywood Video and Blockbuster may be gone, but "Movies & Candy" are here! They have just about every title you can imagine, along with cool retro candy and popcorn to select from. They even have a screening room if you want to watch a movie there! Rentals are very reasonable, and compare to Redbox or less!

I adore Movies and Candy! Best, best, best movie selections!! And! They always have the latest movie that turned to DVD. Much better than that red box on the street corner. Plus! You get to visit with the very sweet owners Trevor and Katie!

Very disappointed in this place.. Not a large selection and they rent a room for birthdays which is fine but not when the girls are running around all over the place, makes it very hard to browse the movies, so we left.

Super fantastic selection of dvds and blue-ray. The thing I like the most is that they dont just have mainstream titles, they have a very wide selection of lesser known films and cult classics.
