If I could give this club a zero star, I would. I signed up for my membership in February 2011. I signed up for a year membership, and agreed to pay via credit card monthly. When, due to an unrelated matter, I had to order a new credit card I switched to paying cash. I agreed to come into the office on the first of April to pay my account, but was unable to due to being called into work. I called Tristan and made him aware that I would be having my partner drop off my payment for me. When she arrived she was questioned for my banking info and asked for her banking info if she wouldnt provide mine! Tristan also made the comment "What, your girlfriend was too scared to come deal with us in person?". I decided to let this incident slide and continued using the the gym. A few months later I realized a few days ahead of the 1st of the month that I was running short on cash, and that my account would not have enough money to run my payment. I called and apologized, but asked that they run my payment on the 3rd instead. After multiple reassurances that my card would not be run until the 3rd I ended the call. Lo and behold, come the first my payment was taken out. When I called to complain about this, they didnt answer my messages and when they finally did said there was nothing they could do about it.Since then things have run pretty smoothly until about two weeks ago. I had recently started working out at home and decided to take the steps necessary to cancel my membership. I have, to date, called them 25 times and left 15 messages with both the office and Tristan directly with no response. They have provided the WORST customer service I have ever received, this coming from a professional bill collector. The cheap membership fees to not make up for the complete unprofessional attitude.

WORST COSTUMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I have never been treated so poorly as a consumer before AND so clearly taken advantage of to be ripped off! I have actually ended my membership and currently trying to get them to stop charging me still! I have called the gym and talked to the owner whom went around in circles about how he couldnt undo this charge because..... A) He didnt have my cancellation papers therefore I was making this up and havent cancelled my membership. B) He called be back later once he "found the papers on file", but told me they were not valid because the employee that had helped me no longer works there. He followed with the point that I had been using the gym the last months, therefore I would still have to pay. --- I havent even had a key card the last 2 months. And I said we could look at security tapes to prove I have not been in there if need be. C) Next up Tristan said that after looking over my membership rates, that I actually havent been paying the correct amount for the whole 12 months that I was there. Apparently their rates increased, but this was not brought to my attention and I was already in the contract. BUT I was told that since I was being difficult they were now going to bill me for the difference. D) They then proceeded to hang up abruptly on me. PLease Please do not go to Snap Fitness and let this happen to you. There are many gym options in this price range- I would recommend one of those.

Should have read reviews before purchasing a fit pass. I decided to try a 30day fit pass. Well two days before the end of my membership I cancelled online and got a confirmation email showing I had cancelled, well two days later they charged me for a 30day membership, which completely threw me off.. I am waiting for a response, will update this review if they help me, but from reviews I read they may refuse to return my payment. I will never join snap fitness again after this experience. Update: No one is calling me back or emailing me back, I had to resort to bringing in the email as proof of cancellation to my bank to get my money refunded.

DO NOT GO HERE! You are much better off getting a membership at LA Fitness down the street or another close fitness location (YMCA, Lifetime). This facility has outdated equipment, the place smells awful, and everything feels like it hasnt been cleaned in years. Not worth any money. Not to mention that the staff is not helpful at all and makes you feel unwelcomed.

Clean and lots of room. In general, there is a lot of good equipment here. However, Im a fan of the Cybex equipment, and this location had something else (hurt my quad on the leg press machine due to bad foot-plate). To get the most out of your workout here, bring a buddy to spot for you. The staff seemed courtious and helpful, but I never talked with them.

I worked out at Snap Fitness uptown for 9 months before I left Minneapolis to go to NYC. I loved it. With Brad the trainers help I lost 35 pounds and got in great shape. I never waited for equipment (I worked out early morning) and it was always clean, welcoming and I felt comfortable. I really miss Snap fitness! You guys uptown are lucky!

This location isnt terrible; they do have equipment that works, dumbbells, floor mats, squat machine, etc. Its small and the equipment is old. Theyre not very good at answering the phone either (when they are there--the times its staff are listed online). I see this as a place to get a quick workout in and go.

I recently lost my job and called the owner to ask what my opions were for ending my membership and if he was willing to work with me and he offered no help. My only option was to buy my way out which is not possible due to me no longer having an income. I feel like he was rude and wasnt understanding.

The manager accused me of trying to steal his TVs....???? Idk this guys a nut. Ive been a member of snap for years now and this club was the worst. The managers ridiculous and snooty. His club is apparently superior to others because its in uptown? Ha. Never returning to this location again.

The Uptown Snap Fitness location is always too crowded and there is always a wait to use equipment. The system they use to track # of visits is always broken so you never get credit towards health insurance. The staff is not very helpful and act confused when asked questions.
