This place does not even deserve one star. A friend and I drove almost two hours to have a nice girls day. My friend had never been to a spa before. We arrived and no one was there. We were finally taken upstairs to the spa area to have a pedicure. It was not even a decent pedicure chair and there was another customer just sitting there. It was an uncomfortable experience that just got worse. Part way through she answered a phone call. She had it on speaker phone the whole time and it was with a doctor. The conversation grossed us out. I then said we were uncomfortable and she grabbed my feet and didnt want us to go so we stayed. Then the male massage therapist came in and he was old and made my friend even more uncomfortable since this was her first time. I said that she did not want to get a massage and he said he understood because it was the first time a man would touch her. That was the final straw and demanded we leave. She made us pay $270 just for getting my nails cut.

This salon is cozy casual and polished the owner is a lovely lady who didnt seem rude at all as stated in previous reviews, I met her handicapped daughter and realized quickly why she may have had a bad day at some point and was maybee a little high strung towards insensitive people who write bad reviews, I got extensions from one of the booth renters named Lea Pea she was fabulous and knowledgable about her craft and gave me the long locks Ive been wanting forever, this salon is tight!!!!

My experience at Jonis was a little stressful but overall ok. She made my friends nail beds bleed during a manicure and seemed a bit unorganized throughout the services. Neither me or my friend got moisturizer after a salt scrub and due to a timing error on her part she cut our massages short but did not give us a discount because of it. The services themselves were average. Overall I wouldnt suggest it but the place is cute and the prices are reasonable.

I think giving this place "one" star is generous at best. The owner is rude and not up to date on the latest styles. I left looking ten years older! Needless to say, stay away from this place fellow Moorhead friends . My mother went here for a simple trim and was very upset at the cut she got too.

joni is rude completely unprofessional. STAY AWAY! you cant relax and enjoy a massage here because her attitude fills the place with negativity.
