First I would like to say that we are in Texas...and if you dont have friendly service and you charge seperate for everything that you do....you wont last long in this small city were word goes along way.. I took my daugter to this salon to get a haircut. The price list clearly states the cost on the WALL...which is $10.00. ..which is good right? Ok well when you go to get your hair cut, isnt the stylest suppose to wash your hair?Oh, but wait , yes she can do that , for an extra $ 10.00..( which is not stated on the price list on the wall)!! Okay so my daughters hair has layers and I asked her to continue with the layers....welll guess what..she charges $3.00 for that too! Its not the money I am complaining about...its the add ons that she comes up with. I do not recommend this salon to anyone...other than a style-less mens hair cut. Samantha is not very friendly...its a Im better than you kind of personality! I do recommend to driving that extra mile to get friendly , no b.s pricing! Go someplace where you know you will get the service you deserve~ with someone who truely appreciates your business. T

Not happy at all with the service. I have naturally curly hair and at age 50, its thinning. I showed the owner a photo of what I wanted, specifically said I wanted to keep the length, cut in layers, and to NOT USE THINNING SHEARS. The owner said I needed my hair washed (I washed it the day before). After the wash, I was seated. Two minutes later I was moved to another seat. The lady who was going to work on my hair had her table set up and I noticed the THINNING SHEARS. I told her not to use those on me. She said ok. Five minutes later I noticed the shears in her hand!! She cut my hair shorter in the back, using the shears, and my hair was damaged! I will NEVER go back and will NEVER recommend it to anyone.

Ive been going here for four years and was fairly happy until my most recent experience in which Sam was completely rude and unprofessional. I was the only customer in the salon and instead of cutting my hair like always she had her assistant cut it while she proceeded to color, wash, and cut her own hair. The whole time I kept thinking maybe her assistant was just doing the trim part and then she would come finish the layering and razor cutting. But nope... She never even said one word to me. And its not like she doesnt know me, like I said Ive been coming for 4 years. I will not be back. Ive never been treated with such horrible customer service.

Absolutely amazing! Ive been to many salons and have met many hair dressers, but Ive not met a person as talented as Samantha. Sam, the owner is incredible. Shes been doing hair for over 20 years and it shows. She specializes in hair color, highlights, cutting and styling. If you have not been to Red Oak Salon, Id highly recommend you give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

Sam is great. Shes quick and efficient and always listens to what I want done to my hair. She is very knowledgeable and skilled and shes even fixed a few bad cuts Ive gotten other places when I was out of town. If I have a choice, I go to Sam for my haircuts. Her prices are also really reasonable for the quality of work that she does. I recommend her 100%.

I just went to Sam and was blown away. She whipped out a fairly complicated swing bob in 15 minutes. She obviously knows what shes doing and she did a really beautiful job. I love going to someone who is confident and has opinions. She is and does! It was only $18. Ive been spending $45. A welcome change!!

Sam is awesome and charges great prices. I have used the same person since I was young and tried Sam because I was tired of driving so far. Now I only use Sam. She is the greatest.
