Do not go to this Ulta for facials. When I walked in, no one greeted me. I walked to the back of the store for my facial, and a woman with an awful dye job stood at the register and literally did not acknowledge my presence. She did not look up, she did not say a word to me. I stood there for a solid 2mins (I was early for my facial) before a man came walking up from the back and asked me if I had been helped. I told him that I had not yet been helped, and the woman who had been standing at the register walked away. The man checked me in for my appointment and said that Ashlee would be right up. Ashlee was not right up, and my appointment started nearly 5mins late. I get facials monthly to improve my skins health, and so that I can relax. Ashlees superior kept interrupting her, and my facial. Ashlee seemed like a sweet girl, but I was unable to relax. This older woman kept walking in and out, rummaging around Ashlees space and bringing up non-urgent matters to her while she was with a client. How unprofessional! When Ashlee told me to sit up and look at my "results" in the mirror, I was confused. She did no extractions, no masks. I checked my phone for the time- I paid $55 to have someone rub soap on my face for about 30mins. At the register, I notified the cashier (whose name tag said she was a Manager) of my underwhelming, unimpressive experience. She replied, "Oh... So would you like to add gratuity?" I still tipped Ashlee 20%, but I will not revisit this Ulta. If their "Manager" is apathetic with 0 problem solving skills, then why would her staff have care or customer service skills? My expectations are much higher for this company, a store Ive shopped at for years.

Dont ever waste your money or time going to the salon at Ulta! I have my hair guy at Toni and Guy, but he was out of town and decided to go and give Ulta a try. Biggest mistake! Not only that it was a lot more expensive (color + cut) but also the girl that was supposed to do it all left in the middle of the service. She first told me all will be $135, I agreed, then she started the color process and out of nowhere she tells me " I will finish the color, but someone else will cut your hair because I have to leave. You know that just happens sometimes. " She didnt say its an emergency, she didnt seem to care about giving excellent customer service, she didnt even seem to be truly sorry for just leaving in the middle of my service after raising the price to $155. The worst part is about to come. She hands me over to this guy who had no idea how to cut my hair, nor how to fix it. I took a picture with me and showed it to him and he freaking gave me a freaking 60s Dallas look instead of the sleek, messy, pieced out look with beautiful pieced out bangs. I told him to cut off 1 inch, he cut off 5 inches and messed up my bangs and then dried my hair with a round brush curling it and making it look like a poofy, disgusting old lady. I came home and fixed my bangs, made my hair wet to get rid of the poofy look. These people are not professionals, they are a joke and they will rip you off. Ill make sure to never go there again and Ill inform people that want an up to date look to never go to Ulta because not only their customer service sucks, but they dont deliver the actual service asked. Absolutely, shameful! Dont go there!

Everyone wrote horrible reviews on customer service. My experience was great. Im not big on all the new make up, Ive worn the same stuff since high school but a friend told me about things she uses and loves. Shes huge on it. I read the reviews and was worried because I knew I needed help. I went in and it was packed. I wondered around frantically looking for the items because I am getting married and wanted to look great of course. A women swooped me up knowing I was lost and took me around the entire store picking up the items I was looking for and showing me products I might like better than what I was recommended. I was about to walk out with nothing I was so frustrated and she was so sweet and put some of the things on me to show me how they work. And said if I didnt like them bring them back but she did a great job and I love what she recommended. I put it on immediately when I got home and now I feel too dressed up to go to Walmart lol

The blonde manager is so rude and racist. I asked her to help me and she yelled at me from another isle asking if I had a question with so much attitude(immature power trip alert). She was not accomodating at all. I was like Ill wait for another person to ask the question, the attitude from her was just too much. After that she was watching my son and I from a distance...then we passed by her and she looked at my son so disgustingly. I was thinking "little girl you better take your racist eyeballs off my son before I pull out those extensions" all that attitude is unecessary. Why do monsters always get ahead..there were much nicer girls in the store and they chose some bimbo with no morals to be the manager. I wont be going back there again.

Ive seriously been here a million times, and Ive NEVER had snotty service like the other reviews suggest. Ive shopped here, gotten my hair done here, and just today Amerie did my eyebrows and she was awesome. The ONLY complaint I have is that it gets really messy in there, and sometimes the area on the wall end of the counter has a ton of crap over there. Ive also had a few instances where the item I wanted was out of stock. Either way, Ive been coming here at the VERY least once or twice a month for about a year and Ive had nothing but awesome service. Im usually in there after work around 5/6ish, so maybe the staff at that time is just better, but overall everyone Ive spoken to had been not only helpful but fun and pleasant to talk to.

Whenever I need anything from hair, to nails, to makeup I come here for all those needs. The associates are very helpful, sometimes its hard to navigate and find exactly what youre looking for because everything is stocked by brand. Im not really a make up girl like that but I did need some lip scrub and the lady recommended a scrub from Tarte and thank goodness I got it when I did because they only had one left. Parking is very ample and easy access to the I-75 central expressway. Depending on when you go, it can get crowded but they have a lot of clerks at the cash registers so the lines go fast.

Samantha did my hair for a wedding this past Saturday, and I have never had so many compliments on my hair before! Also, the hair last ALL night, through the dancing and everything. She had done some awesome braids on my head, and the other bridesmaids like them so much that those that hadnt had their hair done yet insisted on braids too! I would definitely go here again! Note: the price for my hair being done wasnt bad at all. Very affordable.
