If you have $$ and patience, this is a great place. I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian Laser Hair Removal approximately a year ago and felt like the service for my therapy was disgusting. From day one, I thought my experience was going to be great. But, when it came down to scheduling appointments, confirming them, and even keeping them, it was a nightmare. Each person I would speak with acted as though they had no clue what I was talking about. I would get 2-3 calls in the beginning appointments even after I had already cancelled/changed it with someone else. Early on, I had to speak with management several times. The appointments would be made with one person and I would show up and have to wait just to be told it was someone different. I had to call and confirm my own appointments from then on. They gave me excuses such as staff is new, software is being changed, technical problems with systems down, etc... But when it takes over a year for 6 appointments and you have horrible communication problems with almost every one, it sure does take away from the treatment being decent. Technicians were skilled, but who wants a new one for every appointment. They were either sick, moved away, quit, etc... I dont know about you but this private area should be kept private between you and your technician, not the entire esthetician staff. There was absolutely no notice with the changes either. I even had individual technicians give me their card to schedule with them directly and They never answered my attempts to do so. Even when the managers appeared to go out of their way to help correct these problems, they did so making me feel like I was the only one with issues. I appreciate their assistance, but even that was mediocre. There are glimpses of light in the darkness here, but they will need a lot more good to outweigh their bad customer service and employee skills. I still have hair growth that needs treated, but I will sacrifice any additional appointments to go some where else. I am so over this place.

I went to this medspa about 6 months ago for juvaderm, I purchased a full syringe for my lips. My lips arent small by any means I just wanted a fuller look. At the time I was getting my treatment the nurse recommended I could use half the syringe and come back and use another half at a later time. Its been about 6 months now and I decided I would go back to Dallas to get it done, when I called to make the appointment the "owner" answered and said they dont do that. I explained to her my situation and if I were told I couldnt do that I wouldve just used my whole syringe at that first appointment. She can even see in my records I purchased the full syringe but only used half. She said they dont hold them as a safety issue. I understand that, I work in medical. I was told they would be using the remaining half of my product would be used on someone else who only needed a half and vice versa. Then the owner said I was getting "very aggressive" with her, anyone who knows me knows I am not an aggressive person. She said she was going to talk to my nurse and get back to me within the day. I did not receive a call from her. The next day I called to follow up with her and someone else answered so I asked the same thing, the girl who answered the phone was super nice and made it sound like no big deal, she knew exactly what I was talking about and said it would be in my notes. Breezy. The night before my appointment the owner calls me and says she will not be giving me my treatment, and when I asked her why a second person had told me the same thing she said I was probably being aggressive to her too? Im not stupid and Im not a liar, if you dont want to honor it just say youve undergone new management and that is no longer policy. But do not make it like I made it up. As an owner she was rude and really unprofessional. I just hope people dont have to deal with Louise or whatever her name is

Worst experience ever. Countless scheduling incidents, disrespectful staff and a rude manager with the least sense of customer service. Just look at the complaints at the Better Business Bureau. If you have had laser hair removal treatments before, you know that it hurts, especially in sensitive areas (there’s a reason why they recommend using numbing cream). During my last treatment I run out of numbing cream half way through my legs that morning, so I didn’t have any cream on for my Brazilian. I though, ouch, this is going to hurt!. Well, I didn’t feel any pain at all. I mentioned that to the technician while she was working on my Brazilian and the answer I got was “that means it is working”. What? That was the first of quite a few no-sense remarks. She even had the nerve to make offensive comments about my body size. Excuse me? I didn’t believe my ears. Normally, the following days after treatment, hair in the treated area seems to grow back but it is actually falling off because of dead follicles. This time not a single hair fell off. To me that means that, either the machine was not working the way it should or the technician was not properly trained. I’m inclined to think the second. The technician, a pregnant lady, wasn’t even wearing protective eyewear. Not that I care much, but that tells you a lot about the level of training that Renew Beauty provides to their technicians. And if you think talking to the manager is going to be of any help, think again. The “manager” is rude, disrespectful and cocky. No matter how much they messed up you are never going to get her to admit their mistake, let alone offering an apology. Don’t waste your money, time, energy or patience. You are going to lose them all and go back home with the only thing you didn’t want, your unwanted hair. Way to go, Renew Beauty!

Living Social had a promotion going on for Renew Beauty & Med Spa for a Brazilian Blowout and I decided to give it a try. I am in the 5th week of my BB and was told my frizz would not come back for 8-10 weeks. A co worker of mine went to have a BB done at another salon 1 week after I had mine done and hers still has no frizz whatsoever, but mine is back to the regular thing. I called Renew Beauty & Med Spa today to speak with a manager about why my hair hasnt held the treatment and she recited a well rehearsed speech about how everyone takes the treatment differently and its only supposed to cut dry time and relax hair. I realize this but am wondering why my hair is frizzy? She seemed frustrated with my questions but I was only trying to understand. She ended up hanging up abruptly before I was done with the conversation. Because of this unprofessional behavior I would never refer a friend/family member to this salon. I would urge you to find another salon to go to if you are on here reading about Renew Beauty & Med Spa in Northpark Center.

Two weeks ago tomorrow, I was in Renew for Botox. At that time I received what was relayed to me as a “full treatment”, about 60 units. Upon getting home I realized they charged me incorrectly which amounted to about 30 dollars more. I let that go since I should have caught it during checkout. Today I went back into Renew for a follow up since I still have SUBSTANTIAL movement. After being assessed, I was informed they would need to use at least an additional 12+ units, and I would be charged for it. Had I known during the initial treatment of spending $600+ that I would be required to spend an additional $120-$200 bucks, I would not have done the initial treatment to begin with. And why would I spend the extra money on more when the first full treatment didn’t work. Very disappointed in how they handled this issue. All they offer for compensation was $20 off the $120 treatment (after she spoke with the manager). Will not be returning nor do I recommend Renew to anyone else.
