ON 7/18/14 WE WERE GOING TO HAVE THE SHOWER DRAIN CLEANED. BRAD (22 YEARS OLD) SHOWED UP. HE PROVED TO BE VERY IMMATURE WITH A TEMPER AND INCOMPETENT TO HANDLE THE AUGER EQUIPMENT - CURSING AT IT - . HE PROVED TO BE ARGUMENTATIVE AND HAD AN INTIMIDATING ATTITUDE. HE INSISTED TO CHANGE THE AGREED UPON PRICE AFTER BEING UNABLE TO DO THE JOB. WE REFUSED TO ACCEPT HIS NEW DEMANDS WHERE UPON HE STORMED OUT OF THE HOUSE WITHOUT FINISHING THE JOB. IN FACT WE NOW HAD A MORE SEVERE DRAINAGE PROBLEM (PLUG UP). UPON MY CALLING THE OFFICE THE MANAGER REFUSED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. INTEGRITY, QUALITY, ETC. THAT THEY ADVERTISE IS A COMPLETE SHAM. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MORE UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR PERPETRATED BY A BUSINESS

Tom, a master plumber with Ben Franklin Plumbing Northfield, came to our house to find the source of a small leak under an inside wall in the basement. He quickly determined the problem was due to a faulty toilet tank on the other side of the wall. He explained the options clearly--either rebuild the existing toilet tank or, for not a lot more, replace the existing toilet with a new, "comfort height" toilet (which wed been thinking about getting anyway). Tom actually had a new toilet on his truck and in no time at all had it installed and working fine. The problem was resolved. Tom was courteous, honest, and reliable. We would definitely use Ben Franklin Plumbing again.

Gary was fast and efficient. I had a very stubborn valve in my shower that needed to be repaired and it was a bugger! With his knowledge of this valve, he was able to find a way to finally get the old one out with out having to replace the entire valve. Hats off to Gary and a great job! Id definitely call them again and the rates I thought were reasonable....considering what he had to do. Great job Gary!

Very professional visit to test water quality. Requested the service due to black growth in the toilet tanks after 5-6 years of continuous use and reason for that. Explanation was very thorough about the residual deposits from unfiltered city water! Stated the black growth was actually a form of rust from chemicals in the water. We appreciated the overview and recommend BF to anyone!
