They have poor quality work and are not willing to fix problems they created while the car was in their possession. June 4th I was rear ended by a woman in Champlin, MN. I drive a 2009 Murcury Milan so I called my local ford dealership and they told me Luther collision and glass does all their body work. I made an appointment at Luther Collision and glass and got a quote that next day. They quoted my damage $1036.83 and a three day repair. They had my car for a total of 11 days. July 2nd I went to pick up my car that was finally done! Signed over the insurance check, grabbed my keys, hopped in my car, went to open the moonroof which no longer worked, and I look on my dash to see a error message saying my compass isnt responding. These things all worked properly 11 days ago when I gave Luther my keys to my car. I went back into the shop and say something isnt right, the customer service manager was out trying to figure out what was wrong for about an hour with no luck. So I went to leave in my car again to find that now the battery light is on and all four windows no longer work. I pull back in to the shop and while the customer service manager looks at it for the second time I see a chip in my new bumper. He sent me back home in the rental so the bumper could be repainted. Next day i get a phone call to come pick it back up but they couldnt find what was wrong with all the electrical problems. When i pulled in to pick my car up, I went to check the paint job for imperfections. The new bumper they got for me is so thin I could literally push it in with only one finger. After further inspection, it in fact not an OEM bumper. Its a much lesser quality plastic. So when all is said and done, They made my car worse than the way it came in. The body work was done to a very poor level. And now many functions of my car are not in functional form. All coming from the work Luther has done. I have contacted Luther to let them know the disappointment in the work, and their seems to be no intention to fix their poor work.

Ive had my truck serviced at Luther Toyota in Brooklyn Center, and my takeaway from that experience was that they are committed to me being happy and satisfied with my service and experience at their dealership. This led me to pick Luther Collision to get some body work done on my truck after a recent hit and run in a parking lot. The estimate was done promptly, and they worked with my out-of-state insurance company with no problems. The reason I didnt give them five stars was because Id dropped off my truck on Monday with an assurance that it would be ready to go on Thursday, and it was still in pieces when it was supposed to be ready to go. I had an out-of-town appointment on Friday, and needed my truck to make the appointment. When I expressed my displeasure over the situation theyd put me in, I got a call back from the manager overseeing my work with assurances that it would be done ASAP, and it was. They even sent a driver to my office to pick me up and bring me out to the shop (I bus to work during the week, so I didnt want to mess around getting a rental) and he was a friendly guy who got me back to the shop in a hurry, the transaction was quick and friendly, and my truck was waiting for me at the front door. I had to hustle, but I made my appointment, which I wouldnt have been able to do without their good service. Everyone makes mistakes, but the commitment to customer satisfaction that Luther Collision makes is really a difference maker, and sets them apart. They jammed me up a little, but did a great job in making it up to me. Also, my truck looks fantastic. :)

I took my Volkswagen here last winter after it had been involved in front-end collision (02 Passat with 55,000 miles!-such a beauty) It took ONE month before it was ready and then the mechanical aspects of it had not been addressed. I found one very young and inexperienced mechanic on-site and wondered how this kid would know about the mechanics of every auto that came through this place, let alone a Volkswagen. The cover for the timing belt had not been placed on securely and when I pointed this out, the kid told me it wasnt a problem - how could an opening in the timing belt cover NOT be a problem?? Honestly, I think they had too much work to deal with last winter and lacked the expertise - certainly on my car. Since I took my car home, I have found a crack in my frame and my radiator has failed. Luther Westside Volkswagen should have never sent their body-work to Luther Collision and Glass!! - how can only one mechanic on site be able to take care of every car that comes through? I highly recommend that you go someplace else that provides more specialized service.

My car had hail damage from a major hail storm two weeks ago and I was leaving on a trip in a few days. I called to schedule my repair and worked with David on coordinating my insurance estimate etc. I had the estimate done on a Thursday morning and when I spoke to him later that morning, he already had the parts ordered and had me on the schedule for the day I was leaving (a full week ahead of the original date). I was paying for a rental car privately and he moved things up for me to help me out. The repair wasnt scheduled to be completed until the following Wednesday (8 days later), but when I got home on Friday, I had an email that it was ready. (5 days early). I picked up my car this morning and it is like brand new.!!!! Luther saved me 5 days of rental car costs and did a beautiful job on making my car look new again. I would definitely recommend their work and customer service to anyone who has a need!!! Thank you Luther Collision & Glass!

I had my windshield replaced in Sept 2015 due to a crack, and Matt Lickty was great. We both agreed the replacement glass was by far not acceptable (PGW doesnt do Tacoma glass well at all FYI) so no problem, Matt came out again and it was replaced with a Pilkington. Great service, Matt was very friendly, super nice, and definitely knows his stuff. Yet again, my windshield was cracked recently so I requested Matt again for this replacement. We tried a couple days ago to install a PGW for kicks to see if the glass was improved, to no avail. Took the glass out of the truck and one look at the glass Matt asked if we could reschedule to get a new piece of glass (Matt stated hed note to not do PGWs in Tacomas in the future). Today, the Pilkington was installed quickly while we chatted about motorcycles and toys. He always has a great attitude and is very good at what he does! Thank you!

Lither Collision and Glass Plymouth location was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was able to easily book an estimate online and get my car in the shop within a week to get fixed. With a tight deadline for turning the repair around (Out of State road trip for the Christmas Holiday), Luther did a fantastic job getting my car in and fixed. When it turned out my taillight also needed to be replaced they got the part in and the car repaired as promised. They even gave me a ride to work, washed my car and cleaned the inside. After having less than ideal experiences with body shops and mechanics in the past, Luther Collision and Glass was a pleasant surprise and a welcome relief. Like their website says, accidents are never convenient but Luther went above and beyond to make my experience as stress-free as possible. Thank you!!
