After googling The Little Gym of Edina to find their website, I stumbled upon the reviews. I must say, I am flabbergasted by the one-star review below and feel the need to write my own in support of the gym. I have been going to the gym for over 5 years now with three kids and currently have two enrolled so Id like to think I have a fair amount of experience with everything TLG has to offer (camps, classes, parents night out and birthday parties). Currently, I have a 4.5 year old in a class and a 22 month old in a class. I have nothing but positive things to say about the classes and teachers. Between the three kids, I bet we have had at least 10 of the teachers and they were all amazing. My oldest was not the easiest to have in class (high energy) and the teachers did a great job of keeping him interested while listening at the same time and the entire time, the teachers stayed positive. I dont think I ever heard a negative word out of their mouth. As a 7 year old, he still asks to go to the camps in the summer. My 4.5 year old asks on a weekly basis if her teacher can come babysit her. And my 22 month old is in a combined class that has kids close to 3 years old. I have never had a concern of safety...ever and he is pretty easily the smallest/youngest there. I think they go out of there way there to keep it a safe environment. Im not sure what class the negative reviewer was in, but I have never had an over-crowded class and both of the classes we are currently in have said mostly the same the entire year. I also have one kid in class while the other sits in the waiting room and TLG goes out of their way to make sure she has stuff to do. They have a great corner of toys and books and they will always set up a coloring station in the dance room to make sure she isnt bored. I feel like they go over and above to make it such an easy place to bring kids. We have also done 2 of my three kids birthday parties there and going through about 3-4 different places, TLG is hands down the best and easiest party to have. They make it SO easy. I sat taking pictures the entire time during my daughters party there last year and just watched the kids have a crazy amount of fun while the teachers organized and ran everything. I even had to switch the date of the party and they did it without question. Payment wise, I am also amazed as to how flexible they are. There are probably 3-4 different options of how to pay for classes, etc making it extremely affordable for everyone. I dont think I could come up with a complaint if I tried about The Little Gym...I would highly recommend it for kids of all ages!

NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT AND THEY ROPE YOU INTO THINGS THAT YOU DIDNT SIGN UP FOR. The class sizes are over crowded to the point where my son got kicked in the head by another adult. Also the equipment that is used there is positioned in ways not suitable for the age groups. My son is 18 months and when we mentioned to the instructor that he had hit his head on some of the equipment because it was too close to the wall she did nothing about it. Not to mention that there was only about 3 kids who stayed for all the 10 sessions... this place seems like it goes through a lot of people due to the safety issues. They also lie about payments. When i signed up they said that I was able to pay for 10 sessions and see if I liked it and then after the ten sessions I could decide if I wanted to continue, after the 8th session they deducted $192 from my bank account charging me for the next 10 sessions that I didnt even sign up for! causing my account to have a overdraft charge, when I called to get refunded and tell them about my safety concerns and how I got an overdraft that they should pay being it was their fault and i didnt sign up for the next sessions the supposed manager refused to pay my $30 overdraft fee, after telling him I would contact the BBB he then decided that he would refund my $30. I would not recommend this place at all!!

I currently have my seven-month-old son in the "Bugs" class. At the Little Gym we are able to do all kinds of things that I wouldnt think of doing at home, such as rolling together down a wedge mat, doing pull ups on bars, or side-stepping on a balance beam. At the end of each class, our energetic instructor brings out balls for the babies to play with and the bubble machine. She clearly explains what each activity is doing for our babies, i.e., what muscle group is being strengthened, how tracking the bubbles helps eye-hand coordination develop. My son especially loves interacting with the other babies there. After each class, he takes a long nap and then cant stop moving when he wakes up - he truly seems stronger and more motivated to move!

We recently had our sons birthday party at The Little Gym of Edina. The kids had a lot of fun in the gym...and we had a range of age from 10 mos to 10 yrs old. Sarah & Casie were friendly, enthusiastic, great in leading the kids and the adults...and so organized! The detail that blew us away was that they even wrote down the gifts & who they were from! It was very simple for us. Rave reviews from the whole extended family. We look forward to having a birthday party for our other son at The Little Gym in the future!

We had our sons double birthday party at The Little Gym and it was a HUGE success! I love that every detail was taken care of- activities were lead, (the instructors even remembered every childs name!!) the party room was brightly decorated, the snacks we brought were served, clean up was covered. Kids all had a blast and parents all remarked that it was the best party ever. :) I highly recommend this as a spot to host your next kiddo birthday party!

The Little Gym of Edina is the place for serious fun and they totally mean it. From gymnastics and dance to birthday parties, Little Gym is a blast. My 8 year old son will even do the summer camps with his younger sister and thinks they are amazing. When you have the ability to reach all different ages and genders with your programs and staff, it says something great about your business! Thanks for everything Little Gym, you are the best!!!

We hosted my daughters 5th birthday at the Little Gym. It was so easy! The staff took care of everything! The party room was adorable! Very festive and lively. The staff did a great job of keeping the kids entertained in the gym as well as giving them free play time too. The kids were exhausted afterwards which is a great sign that they played hard and had a blast! My daughter loved her party and I loved the ease of the whole thing! Win-win.

We recently held our childs 5th birthday at The Little Gym. It was incredibly organized and the kids had a blast! The first hour during which the kids were in a class led by the instructors was a great time to catch up with the other parents, and then we all came together for cake and presents. It was a wonderful experience and our son plans to have all his parties there "until he is 30..." :)
