I wanted to replace a desktop tower but didn’t want to get something off the shelf, and didn’t want to bother with figuring out component compatibility myself. With General Nanosystems out of business, I was looking for a new builder. I found “Christopher” and Max Computers just a couple miles further east on University Ave and it was everything I was looking for. Just walking in you can tell this is a place where they know what they’re doing. There are parts and components everywhere and the store is clearly geared toward getting things done rather than pretty displays of boxes. They built me exactly what I wanted and it’s been working great. The fan for the power supply started making an annoying clicking noise after about nine months, so I brought it in for repair. I left it over lunch time and they replaced the entire power supply AT NO CHARGE because I was still within the one-year Max Computers warranty. I first went to this place to check out the shop. At the same time I was thinking of buying a computer. I talked to Rich for a while and he knew what he was talking about, after some time I decided to buy a computer. I asked if he can make one for me, he did. I am still using the same computer today! Great products, very good prices and he is now a personal friend of mine and I go to him for computer problems! I would suggest this place to anyone wanting to buy a computer or just fixing one. Thank you Rich for my favorite Pc and I have never been happier in my life to have a good computer. I also have to mention I am a computer programmer and this Big boy(my pc) Gets every job done!

The job: pull a drive out of an old XP laptop with dead USB ports, copy remaining data onto an 8G USB drive, re-install the drive in the laptop so it can be donated. Did the job in 24 hours for the price quoted and had it ready at the time promised. Conveniently located across from Menards in the Midway. Good service! Thank you, Phu ("Christopher")!

They built a computer for me in January 2014 and did a good job at a fair price. Recently, I was having problems reloading operating system and then getting it registered - they helped me with registration quickly and efficiently. I will buy my next computer from them as they have proven to be reliable.
