Today is 12/06/2016 and I called in at 9:16 and Aliya picked up @ the Sunray (Saint Paul MN) location. I asked to speak to someone who would be able to help me with answering gym memberships questions and such, she said she was qualified to. So I began asking her questions about rates and benefits for each membership. I then asked about how my insurance could help and she said that I would need to come there 12x a month to get a reinembursement from my insurance. I asked her how reimbursement worked and she said "I THINK its every month they reimburse you." I then asked her to see if she could check because I didnt want to be given false information. She then said rudely, "I have no way of checking for you. I dont know all the membership benefits and youll have to ask your insurance." I then responded "you work there and you just told me you would be able to help me, and you cant even clarify whether or not my insurance reimburses me annually or monthly? Is anyone else there that can help me answer this question? Possibly a manager?" She then responded "no sir Im the only one here" & then she hung up the phone! Wow. Im in awe about how rude this employee Aliya is. I called back to get her full name so I could report her to her manager and she refused to give it to me. What a shame. I am going to go in Monday 12/12/2016 since the manager gets back from vacation and let her know exactly what happened. This is unexceptable! This is not how you treat POTENTIAL customers! Way to go and way to ruin your chance of adding a customer!!! Now Im going to look at a different gym.

There are signs everywhere stating not to use your cell phones while using the equipment but no one enforces it. I got stuck next to someone who was nearly screaming into his cell phone and when I asked him to stop and pointed at one of the signs he gave me a dirty look and kept right on screaming into his phone. I cant tell you how many times Ive been in the locker rooms and there are girls there taking selfies or on Face Time. I pay extra to be able to use the hydromassage and tanning beds and theyve never verified my membership which would be fine but why pay extra when they appear to allow anyone to use it for free since they arent verifying? I went in to use a tanning bed this morning and the bed was so filthy that I just walked out. Once my year is up, Im cancelling and going back to Anytime Fitness.

They had a promotion for cheap signup. Learned about the offer 30 minutes before it expired. Tried to sign up online. Signup page would not load. Called the club and they said it was presumably because others were trying to catch the offer too. I try one last time and somebody elses personal information appears on the signup page. No joke. Undeterred, I drive to the club and try to sign up in person. They say they cant provide an exact written copy of the club agreement before I sign up. Cant say these things give me much confidence in this business. +1 star as the staff was nice when I talked to them.

It was horrible. I transfer my membership there because it was closer to my house. However I didnt check it out first, just assumed it was nice like other locations. Boy was I wrong. I wasnt even greeted. When I was finally being helped the guy there was having a personal conversations on the work phone and was dropping f bombs. I had to ask twice for someone to show me around because they didnt. I am going to transfer back to my original one. It may be an extra 7 miles but at least they are nice and respectful.

Staff isnt very friendly, helpful, or anything. They just play on their phones and I asked to go tanning and he punched me in and handed me a card. Never having being here before I literally had no idea what that meant or even where the tanning beds were. The tanning beds dont get wiped down by the staff and the outside of the tanning bed was covered in dust. Lots of equipment and a nice open set up with a nice relaxing center as well.

Customer experience is lacking. The staff is uninformed as to how to help a customer. When I asked about a specific machine and requested help, I was told "Its over there" pointing in a direction of the club, " the instructions are on it". Really? The staff was flirting and didnt want to be very helpful. Disappointing. That being said the gym is clean as are the locker rooms. The equipment is really great.

You get what you pay for! The gym is always clean, nice environment, the staff are OK. However, reading through the reviews, I honestly what do you expect?? The staff at the front desk are not fitness trainers. Unlike other reviewers, I dont expect minimum-wage employees to help me with gym equipment. For many reasons. That is why there is fitness training provided for free.

Honesty I was excited for the Sunray location because its closer but its lacking the right people. You guys need to either hire better customer service for the front and quit letting your team just hang around or hire some actual health trainers. The other thing Im not a fan off its that it closes early on Saturday.

I work until 12am and like to workout after Im done with work. I was really excited for this new location to open up. Unfortunately, sun ray PF is not 24 hours on the weekends which means that I have to drive 20+ miles to the white bear lake location just to stay with my workout. Disappointing.

Staff isnt very informative, when i asked about a particular machine, they said they didnt know and asked if someone else could they simply said the person who knows isnt here. Have shown up on Sunday at 6 am and staff wad late to open also at 330 am during the week, doors locked.

Just getting started but the gym looks great, very up too date (you can watch Netflix or Hulu on the treadmulls), plenty of equipment to work with. The staff was awesome, very personable and friendly gave a nice thorough tour. Pretty sweet place I think!

Equipment is very clean, the female trainer is extremely nice and welcoming of all stupid questions from how to use equipment, and how to do the right excerises and/or form.

Friendly staff, clean facility. Its a very comfortable gym. I wish they had the Precor ellipticals, but the machines they have are pretty good.
