Where to begin? First time bringing it in for an oil change they noticed the wheel bearings need to be replaced. So I go ahead and do the left one, but was a little tight on cash and asked if it was alright to wait on the right one. He said it would be ok for a few months but it really needed done. Absolutely without a doubt. And he said it would fix the violent vibrations Ive been having in my car. Bring it in later with the sole intention of replacing my right bearing and woah and behold my bearing is fine, its actually my sway bars and ball joints. Apparently the ball joints were falling apart. Which means I need an alignment too. I went with it because i dont know a whole lot about cars. I go and talk with a mechanic friend I have, who replaced my ball joints a little under a year ago. Theres no way the joints deteriorated that fast. And the vibration isnt fixed! I go to talk to Ford and my mechanic friend and they basically tell me Youngstedts screwed me over. They had one of their techs drive my car for ten minutes and he is almost positive its the rotors that are bad. Sooooo I go to talk to Youngstedts again and tell them what Ford found. After some b.s. excuses from him and blaming it on his tech, he offers to replace the rotors for free, under the condition we purchase the parts from NAPA. Basically I get to spend 50 bucks putting subpar parts into my car, only(Im sure) to inevitably find another "problem" with my car. I found Nicks attitude really condescending and was not happy with the service at all. Ill be going to Ford from now on.

Parents beware!!! My son went in for an oil change and tire rotation at the Waconia location. I trusted that since the location was local that they would not try to take advantage of my teenager going in on his own. Big mistake. When he returned home I asked to see the service sheet and receipt. The service report showed they *topped off all fluids, except brake fluid* Also in their notes was RF tire showing cords, tie rod severely worn. Upon checking all of his fluids ourselves his transmission fluid was 2 quarts low. Big deal? My husband put the car up on Jacks and checked his tires, tires are less than a year old and not one cord showing on any tire. The tie rod, also in good shape. I feel I need to add here that my husband has 35+ years in the automotive industry. I called the location to speak to a manager to express my concern that his staff was misinforming customers for costly repairs and not servicing the vehicles as they state in the work order. I spoke to Shane, who lied to me and insulted me in the beginning (about the repairs needed) of the conversation and finally came clean at the end of the conversation and admitted he wasnt even in the building when my son was there. Im in sales as well, but to try to *upsell* a teenager based purely on lies and false information is a bad move guys. Especially in a small area like ours. We will never use this location again.

Brought my cars in there for a few oil changes after I moved to the area before I started doing it myself again. Man was that a mistake, first they lied to my wife and said " your oil filter cap melted on one side from the engine heat". At first, I bought the response because I didnt know much about the new age filters, but then I called the Toyota dealer to ask if this was common. They replied absolutely not, and told be it had to have been busted by them taking it off. So I went to go change the oil on this car by myself, and the usual oil pan nut was way over righted. Then I went to remove the oil filter cap, used about 5 different tools, and 2 hours later still couldnt get it to budge. So I brought it to my friends shop with a new oil filter cap, and he worked on it another half hour or so without and luck. He told me to call youngstedts and ask them what they used to take off and put on this oil filter cap. I called into youngstedts and asked the question and they replied " we sometimes use a 5 FOOT breaker bar to take them off and tighten them, its the way there designed". So I look at the oil cap and look at the torque specs it says 25.6 cubic newtons, which is 18lbs of torque, which is essentialy hand tight. After this experience I would never go back to this place for anything, and wouldnt refer them

I gave one star because I couldnt give zero. I came here a little over a year ago, and my experience was horrible. I only came back yesterday because I needed a quick oil change and a tire leak repaired. I thought... What could go wrong? Boy was this a bad decision. They changed my oil and then worked on my tire. They blew it up and tried to tell me it was my fault. I never ran it low, and they admitted that it didnt look like it was run on low. I told him he owed me a tire, and he raised his voice at me. He snapped, "Im not buying you a tire.". He then told me prices of the tires they had. I went to Ford and bought a tire. He later showed me a long nail and said it was in my tire. He told me it may have rubbed the sidewall. The nail was about the size of a 12 penny nail, and the sidewall blew out at least six or seven inches from the puncture in the tire. This place is shady, and I will never go back.

Consistent and affordable. I am extremely thorough when I shop for parts and services for my vehicles and I will do as much of my own work as possible. When I do need work done that I dont want to do myself I choose Youngstedts in Waconia. Ive put tires on both my cars through them and gotten great deals for top of the line tires. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. (Four out of five since no one is capable of five out of five.)

A girl at my job went there and they told her she needed new tires. There was nothing wrong with the tires and practically new. I am also a mechanic on the side. I went there once and one of the counter guys saw me walk in with a lug nut and yelled at me they dont sell spare parts. I wasnt even in there for that, and got closer and he yelled again... I turned around and walked out. I dont recommend.

Have been using this location for all of our oil and tire changes. Nothing but great service everytime. I bring my own oil and filter and they charge an excellent rate to change it. Have been using them for about 2 years now, zero complaints. Chris and Shane are very helpful. A+

Excellent service by Nick and the rest of the crew. New tires look great and they went above and beyond to solve another minor issue that wasnt even their fault. Theyve earned our repeat business going forward.
