Wow...!! I went in to have Todd fix my hair after he'd left a big spot with dead ends only to be yelled at. If he would not have left the spot in the first place I wouldn't havehad to go back to him but when I called to tell the receptionist to tell her she assured me it was ok and he would fit me in to fix the spot. But the second I got there and sat down I could tell he was already mad for having come back, which I was scared of in the first place, so I tried to assure him I loved the cut, just not the bad spot he had left me with but that didn't help. It only got worse. After he could not fix it and I said, oh I can still see it, would u mind trimming a little more, that's when he lost it and started yelling saying he didn't have time for this. I was shocked and just sat there like one would when being yelled at unexpectedly so I tried to compose myself, try not to cry like a baby, and still tried to apologize for something I didn't do. Then he says this isn't working out, maybe a personality conflict. Personality conflict???? I had only been there twice. Still he was yelling, I can't do anything to please you!! Get out!... "What the hell" I was thinking... I had only come in to have him fix something he messed up and the receptionist assured me he didn't mind. I left so in shock I didn't know what to do. The hair cut was horrible and he was horrible, very bad attitude there! All around snobby!

I had heard such good things about this salon I had to have them do my bridal party hair for my wedding. I booked a trial run two months before my wedding and LOVED the hair style she did. The day for the wedding I went in with my bridesmaids and we were all looking forward to a fun morning of girly primping....boy were we wrong. The first bridesmaids hair was HIDEOUS! There was so much spray in her hair that the curls looked burnt and frizzy. The second bridesmaids hair somehow looked greasy (how thats possible with an up do Im not sure...but they did it!) and it wound up falling before we even got into the car to leave. Then there was my hair. I told her exactly what I wanted and even had pictures of ME wearing the style and she could not do it. I finally broke into tears and told her to stop trying. She tried one last thing (which did not work) and I left with my hair looking exactly how it had, if not worse than, when Id walked in. I told girl who was checking me out that we were not at all happy with our hair and would be washing it out and I was still charged the full 200.00 for the appointments. I will NEVER be using or reccomending this salon to anyone. The only reason they recieved 2 stars instead of one is because of the style she achieved during my trial run. I understand that everyone has bad days but this was unacceptable.

Todd has been cutting my hair off and on since I finished college and full time since 2005 (20+ years) when my then stylist in New Orleans left town after Hurricane Katrina. I drive almost 100 miles for an appointment and it is so worth it! He always knows just what my hair needs and how to keep it looking great. Brandy colors my hair and also does a terrific job! Samantha and Shantel have also done my hair when Brandy or Todd were out and they all really bend over backwards to accommodate my limited schedule, and the fact that I have to travel so far for an appointment. Its nice to know there are so many people under one roof that I trust with my hair.

My experience has been so positive that I drive from Perdido Key to have an appt. with Sam. Her experience and techniques have not only greatly improved the texture of my hair, but my highlights last longer than I have EVER seen them last! My mother referred me to Todds Salon after years of receiving the BEST hair styles that she has ever had. I have the same opinion! My daughter is a satisfied client, as well. I would have to say that it is rare for the three of us to be so satisfied with our hair styles from the same establishment! The staff is highly professional and quite pleasant, as well as accommodating.

Ive been going to Todd Boswells since I was in middle school (2002-present) and have gotten my hair cut by multiple people there. My favorite hair dressers are Lara (I went to her from 2002-2007, her bubbly personality and just absolute radiant smile is worth it in itself) and Todd (who creates masterpieces in no time, its wild). The staff is fantastic (shout out to the girls in the front!) and Todd literally ALWAYS knows what to do with my hair. Ive never had a bad experience there, 10/10. I live in Hattiesburg now and its so hard to get my hair done right, so I just drive to the coast for my trims. Its that worth it.

I moved here from SC. Having had my hair done by the same person for nearly a decade I was nervous about finding someone new to cut my hair. TOBO came HIGHLY recommended! And for good reason, my hair looked and felt fantastic when I left. Todd is a masterful stylist! I didnt mind the expense, it was basically the same as Id been paying...but I DID mind the snobby attitudes! Everyone in that place could use a little humble pie. My hair hasnt look so good since then but I cannot tolerate the haughty atmosphere.

Just wanted to thank you again for making room for me on such short notice today. From the warm greeting I received upon my arrival until I paid my bill, the entire visit was excellent! I absolutely LOVE my hair color and style. Rebecca was so accommodating and pleasant, and Todd - what can I say? The ultimate professional hair styler. In addition I was impressed at the precision flow of services. I will definitely be back.

Way overpriced. I went in there and they did a half a head of highlights and did not even use a toner and it cost 220! I had to go home and use a toner myself because it was orange. I guess they think the squirt of oloplex they added to my lightener was worth like 100 dollars. Brandi didnt even do the other step to it. I do not recommend this place.

Todd and his staff have been coloring and styling my hair for close to 20 years. Always a pleasant experience and love the atmosphere of his salon. Chantel does an awesome color on my grey since I was a teen, color resistant hair and my cut and style by Todd never leaves me dissatisfied. Highly recommend.
