Moved to the area from CA 71/2 months ago (hubby is military). Finding a good salon in a new area is a nightmare, especially an area that doesnt seem to believe in websites. This is the third salon Ive tried, and it is a keeper! My appointment was with Gina. She has a really warm personality, and a great way with her clients. She listened to what I was going for, made recommendations, told me WHY she was doing what she was doing, and it helped that she too is currently sporting a short do. I felt very comfortable with her. My hair turned out great. Im thrilled with it. I will be going back for color and of course keep going back for my regular hair maintance. The salon itself was a little hard for me to find. MapQuest likes to send me in a direction that Katrina eliminated. I called for clarification and they were really cool about it. The salon is in a renovated house and puts out great vibes. Everyone I met in there was friendly, welcoming, and had nice looking hair. Who wants to go to stylist that cannot be bothered to do his or her own hair? Cute place near the Biloxi Hospital and Beau Rivage. The salon also has other services like makeup application for special occassions, facials, etc. Their website is in the process of being updated. Two thumbs up! Hope this review helps someone from closing her eyes and throwing a dart at the yellow pages. Great place.

Brian is seriously the best hair stylist Ive ever been to. I wanted a haircut that I wouldnt have to style all the time. He explained what he thought would frame my face best and what kind of cut my hair texture would actually get along with. I really appreciated the fact that he kept explaining what he was doing and why throughout the entire appointment. He told me what mistakes stylists had made on my hair in the past and actually showed me what they did and what they should have done to "prevent it from happening again in the future." After getting my hair cut and styled in a really cute way I used to go home and be really hopeful that I could re-create the awesome blowout that my hair stylist had done but would get really frustrated when I realized that I dont know how to work a blow dryer. Brian explain what he was doing while he was styling my hair and gave me the best tips like how to blow dry my bangs and make them just glamorously fall across my face perfectly. The first time I styled my hair after getting my hair cut I swear I sent up a prayer of thanks to Brian. My hair looked pretty close to how he styled it. I highly recommend Brian and Lavish Salon, He doesnt want you to leave unless you love your haircut and hell make sure you know what products work best for your hair and how to style it so that you can completely enjoy your new look.

A wonderful experience every time I go. I have been a client of Leonies for four years and have experienced many of the different types of services they offer. She does a great job with my hair. I like the Mirabella line of cosmetics they carry and she is a talented make up artist too! The spray tans are the best ever. The Keratin Express is probably one of my favorites, it is a life saver for my hair especially during the humid summer months! The entire staff is friendly and accommodating and are always willing to work around my crazy schedule. They are so wonderful during carnival season. They are located is in a lovely and historical part of the city, right behind Mary Mahoneys Restaurant, within walking distance of the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock Casinos. The building is completely restored and so lovely. I agree with Kristy, the place just "puts out great vibes" Most important, they turn out a great finished product, I always feel like a million bucks when I leave them. You havent been to a salon until you have been Lavished!!!

Stephanie is an angel and hair magician! I called and told them I had a hair emergency and was seen that very day. I tried to save myself money by dying my hair at home and ended up with purple roots and dark brown/blonde splotches elsewhere. Stephanie saw my disaster and went to work immediately. She really knows her stuff because after 2 hours my hair came out looking gorgeous and still strong and soft! I was shocked. I honestly thought either she wouldnt be able to fix it or that it wouldnt be anything Id like but id just have to live with it....wrong! Im in love with the new color and will be going back to her from now on for all my colors and cuts. Ill be sad when we have to PCS from here :( I want to take her with me! Shes a hoot and Id definitely recommend this salon to all my military friends!

I had an amazing experience at Lavish. My hairstylist was Brian Dozier. He was very professional yet created a comfortable and relaxed environment. I had been wanting a specific hairstyle for a while now and no other hairstylist Ive been to was able to make it happen. Brian pulled it off and surpassed my expectations. He spent a full 5 hours on my hair, making sure it was perfect, and wouldnt let me leave without being 100% satisfied. He talked me through every move he made to make sure I understood the process and understood what I would need to do to recreate the style on my own. He is very technical and definitely knows what hes talking about. The price was very reasonable especially for the quality I received. I absolutely love my new look and it is all thanks to Brian; I recommend him to anyone.

I also came to Stephanie with a hair color emergency. I had asked my previous hair dresser for a blond-brown color and got a rich maroon brown. I was horrified!! I called Lavish Salon and Stephanie gave me a call back right away. She took me in the following morning and performed her magic. Besides fixing my hair color, another major thing I like about Stephanie is that she is consistent with her highlights--I like my highlights thin and natural which she excelled at! Until my husband is stationed somewhere else, Stephanie will be my hairdresser on the coast!

Stephanie did a wonderful job on my hair (and my bridesmaids hair) for my wedding day. She was extremely professional and had all of us done with perfect timing--a total plus for a schedule-driven bride. Stephanie listened to everything that I wanted for my hair, and really did a beautiful job! She is also very personable and fun to be around. I couldnt be happier with the service she provided, and I hope to schedule with her for a haircut in the future.

Very professional, friendly, staff here at the Lavish salon! Brian was my hair stylist and he listened to exactly what I wanted and cared about making me satisfied more than any other professional that has ever touched my head. I had doubts my hair was even fixable after all the color experiments I tried myself but he did an amazing job and I was extremely satisfied with the results. Highly recommend this salon!

Jeannine and Leonie are hands down two of the best stylists I have worked with. Ive been with Jeannine for over 4 years and she has NEVER disappointed me. Her instincts are fantastic both with color and cut. Leonie is equally as gifted and both are no frills, no bs gals - another thing I love about them. Lavish is not just about styling your hair - its about Southern hospitality in all its glory.
