To preface, I have been a loyal and satisfied customer of this retailer for 4 years. That ended today after waiting over week, and sending 3 emails to their corporate office, for the manager Jamie to contact me regarding my Guinness t-shirt from IRELAND! See, my shirt that my mother brought back from the GUINNESS FACTORY IN IRELAND!!!@!@! was ruined because the stylist who dyed the hair of another client, failed to wash the sink before my stylist washed my hair in that same sink. The result was my shirt picked up a horrible stain around the back of the collar that essentially ruined it. So, after 3 emails and no response, the manager JAMIE finally reached way back in her managerial skill set and located the word courtesy and returned my call to prep me for what I immediately knew, that they werent going to do anything to rectify the problem. In fact, she requested I bring my gift from flipping IRELAND!!! in with a receipt so she could BUY the shirt which is absurd to me. I followed up with corporate and they reiterated and doubled down on this position of buying my t-shirt from IRELAND THAT WAS A GIFT FROM MY MOTHER!!!!!@!@!@. All that these idiots had to do was offer to reimburse me for the haircut I payed for that day and I would have been satisfied, but they refused. That was 60 dollars just so anyone that might read this will understand, I was not asking for anything unreasonable as they had RUINED MY GIFT FROM MY MOTHER FROM IRELAND!!!! As you might imagine, I wont be returning as I promised their corporate office, and will be posting this same honest review on every website I can find. Beware this store, its manager, and this company. Wish there was a zero star option as 1 star was far too gracious.

Not going back there! ever! Had a haircut appointment two weeks back, it was at 8 am and reached there at 7:55 am and waited outside as the door was locked. No one let me in even after seeing me standing outside in the cold until 8:10 am. I thought I will not make it an issue because the stylist did a good job. Anyway today morning I received a call from them confirming my appointment for tomorrow for relaxer. Again in the evening they called me and left a voice mail. It says they wanted to know what treatment I want for my hair, relaxer or permanent straightening, and whatever it is they dont have the products in stock and I can take appointment for next week. what??? When i called back they are saying the person who called me and confirmed the appointment in the morning is new. They dont know what I wanted to do in spite of stating clearly that I want relaxer; I had also talked to the stylist who does it when I went for haircut. No products in stock?? Manager Jamie said we are calling you today, not tomorrow before your appointment. Really? what a favor!! Never going back there, Rude people and bad customer service.

As far as the store part goes, they have a vast amount of products to choose from and always have specials when it comes to their liter bottles of shampoo/conditioner. Also when you spend so much $ there they give you 10% coupons that never expire. This is the place to buy your salon hair care, rather than the salon, or Target, Walmart. Now the beauty salon part, I have gotten my eyebrows waxed there twice. $12 is a steal. The first time I had a girl who wasnt an esthetician, so she didnt do that great of a job. Second time, I went back I got the licensed esthetician who taught me some tips and tricks on how to get them even. But I didnt agree with her when she told me I needed to grow my eyebrows out if I wanted them straighter. Theyre naturally bushy, so I dont feel like looking masculine. Overall, I would buy products from here but I would skip the eyebrow service and pay more at Aveda.

At first, I was a little skeptical that I would be satisfied at this chain. However, after trying many salons, even independently owned and allegedly upscale salons, I have to say that Beauty Brands is where I have received my best cuts and my color always looks amazing when I leave. I highly recommend Gina or Cassie.

Guys, if you are looking for a good mens cut, I recommend Michael if he still works there. He always gave me a great cut, gave his unbiased opinion on the style that I was going for. Very friendly guy as well. Hes been cutting mens hair for years, so he knows his way around a pair of shears and not just clippers.

Good store to buy many good products. I went there to buy a hairstyling product and was told me I had 60 days to return it. I tried it and it did not work out for me. I took it back the next day and exchanged it without a problem. I recommend it. They have a lot of the brand name products.

My first experience at Beauty Brands was yesterday for a pedicure. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. Britny did the service and I really enjoyed her. She was so sweet and even helped me shop after the pedicure. My toes look amazing and she will always have me as a client.

Overall a great place to buy beauty products on sale. Typically the staff come across abrasive. Overall, the liter sales and weekly deals make this place a great discount beauty option! :D :)
