I rarely write reviews, but I had to after my experience at American Image. I got a Groupon for a haircut and style and was nervous going in since places sometimes treat you poorly when youre a Groupon customer. However, I was treated just as well as the other customers and felt pampered the entire time. The moment I walked through the door, I was asked what beverage I wanted (water, coffee, soda, etc). Then, Tony came out, introduced himself, and listened to everything I wanted before he started. I have extremely thick, difficult-to-cut hair and have yet to get a haircut that I truly like, but Tony gave me my first perfect haircut. He was able to get so much weight off and styled it well. This was by far the best salon experience Ive had, and Ill definitely be returning!

I came to this salon about a year ago after I bought a groupon. When I came in the receptionist was very friendly and greeted me right away. I had an appointment for a highlight and haircut with Ryan. He was very professional and recommended the most conditioning bleach they had since I have fine hair and it is very easy to damage it. He also recommended that I take it few inches shorter than I originally wanted, I was a little hesitant at first but I gave in and boy did it look better! Now my hair looks a lot fuller and healthy. I will be definitely be recommending him to friends and family!

Ryan gave me the worst haircut and experience ever! He even didnt try to talk to me during the cut, when I tried to talk he was akward. He pulled my hair nonstop my scalp hurt for 2 days. Worst cut ever, he didnt listen or understand what I wanted. I would have know how bad the cut was had my hair not been so friggin fluffy and awful looking. Terrible experience, Im sure there are great stylists there but I dare not trust a place that would hire this guy. It was so bad. If you try this place do not get Ryan.

No better than the discount nail salons- I purchased a special package for my daughter ( mother of 2 small kids and pregnant) a manicure and pedicure. The technician seemed to forget the massage parts on both the manicure and the pedicure. It was so disappointing that her service was not memorable or one that she said was relaxing. Im thoroughly disappointed in the services and will never purchase from American Image again. The spa services are over-rated. I wont spend my money there again.

Mary Mullins is my go to Hair Guru! She helped me grow my vey short red curly hair out like no other. Worked with me to come in and keep it trimmed up, so I wouldnt get discouraged. She is a brilliant color artist, as well. I have moved to Arizona this past year and she continues to aid me with my hair by explaining my cut/style and helping my new stylist to achieve the color I desire. She is the real deal and when I do get back to St. Louis I am sure to get an appointment with her!

I have quite a bit of anxiety about my hair due to previous bad experiences elsewhere. Kacey made me feel confident in my decision and explained everything. I am ecstatic about my color but if I wasnt happy she was willing to make sure I would be. All the staff was great and it went from being a dreaded experience to a wonderful one. I highly recommend American Image.

Carrie, I wish you could have heard all the compliments on my hair today. You knocked it out of the park !!!! The cut you selected for me was radical and I LOVE IT ! My experience is that a style never looks the same after I leave the salon, but this ......... I love the cut days after leaving. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
