I didnt have issues with my dry cleaning or even the service per se. They always do a good job, however I took 27 shirts to be laundered on Saturday and had the coupon for $1.79 no limit on amount of shirts.I gave it to the young Asian guy at the counter and asked about the discount and he said yes I would get it at coupon price. When he gave me the tickets, the price was the same as the week before without coupons. I figured it would be subtracted when I picked up the shirts. I just came from there and had to make a return trip. I only got back 22 shirts. The ticket had fallen off and so 5 shirts were missing. I paid $44 & change for the 22 and then he charged me $11.94 for the missing 5. I asked is that the price with the coupon? He said yes. When I calculated, instead of $1.79 it works out to $2.38 per shirt for the 5 or $2.09 @ 27. Last week I didnt have coupons and it was the same rate. Whats the point of the coupon if it doesnt matter? I thought I would pay 27x1.79 = 48.33 and tax if applicable, instead it was $56 and change. My husband uses here regularly for his shirts and so I decided to use them because I had shirts from Goodwill that needed to be laundered for Jamaica. I occasionally get cotton dresses laundered also. Dont bother encouraging people to come in with the coupons if they dont matter! Unless the tax brings it to over$2.00 per shirt? Also it would be great to get a receipt so you can double check the bill.

Their customer service is terrible. I brought a shirt in to get a spot on the chest out. When I picked it up, the spot on the chest was still there and I also noticed black spots all over the shirt. They told me they would run it back through to see what they could get out. The spot came out but the black spots were still on it so they sent it to "customer service" where they "determined" it was no fault of theirs. I dont normally spend a lot on shirts but with this shirt I did. Needless to say, if you have anything of value, do not bring it here. They offered no solution and left me with a ruined shirt that I wore twice and had for a month. I had rather pay the extra month somewhere else to get my garments cleaned then to take the risk of them ruining it. I also brought a dress in at the same time as the shirt and you could tell they didnt run that through the first time either.

I took my coat to be dry cleaned. On the ticket it said to pick it up on Tuesday after 3pm. I went there to pick it up the morning after. They said that it was not done and the guy liked to wait until he got more in before he would even bother to do it so he can do them all at once. The salesperson asked me to call on Friday to see if it was done. I expect things to be done when they say it is going to be done as written on their ticket they gave me. Not acceptable. I demanded that it be done by Friday or just give me back my coat and I will take my business elsewhere.

took my suit there. asked for it to be DRY CLEANED, instead they decided to WASH IT and then press it with folds in it. So when i received my suit back not only did it not fit, however it was wrinkled like a sun-dried tomato.

American Cleaners has poor customer service, and ruined my garment. There was no offered solution. I wouldnt take anything of value to this place. I am disgusted by this company.

Surprised at the negative reviews. Ive been going here a couple of years and the cleaning, laundry, and employees have always been great. I go out of the way to use this place

They wrecked my shirt. All the buttons were crushed. Also, they did a poor job of pressing the shirts. All wrinkles. This was a big mistake coming here.

Worse experience ever! Shrunk all of my garments and also some of my buttons are missing. Will not recommend this place or even this chain to anyone!

I take my shirts and pants there from work. They are significantly less expensive than the cleaners near my house and they do a very nice job.
