I went for a huge cut. I wanted hair that was grazing my bum cut short. I brought many photos of the cut I wanted that showed it at several angles and ways to style it. She looked at one for a few seconds, then went chopping away for like an hour and never once looked back at a photo and the cut I got was definitely not what I asked for. She seemed uncomfortable and out of her depth and cut according to what she thinks "most people" want. Im not "most people". Im a person that was clear about what I wanted. It was very important to me as she removed roughly 20 inches of hair. The line goes up in back instead of down. The hair at the crown should be longer. Im grossly disappointed and gutted. I will have to wait months to grow it back to get what I was aiming for. Im fine with the shortness of the buzzed part, but it was supposed to have layers over it. I feel sick about it. And given how big a cut it was, every person I know that ever saw me knows and makes a comment on it. Salt in the wound 10 times a day. I will never go back here. There was no point complaining at the time as what is there to do? I just wanted to go home. They cant very well undo it. If the stylist was uncomfortable and beyond her skills, she should have referred me to someone else, or gotten some assistance. When someone trusts you take off 20 inches of hair, its kind of important to get it right.

I started going to Studio Branca over four years ago when I received a gift card to the salon for Christmas. Before Branca, I had been jumping from salon to salon, trying to find the perfect stylist for me as I have hair that is extremely challenging in many ways. No one had ever been able to figure it out. The first stylist I went to at Branca was Becky and from my very first appointment with her I was hooked. Becky is incredibly gifted at what she does and she has never disappointed me. She is my hair angel and I am so thankful :) I have been going to Studio Branca EVERY WEEK for over four years, and in that time I have also acquired two other stylists - Katie and Lauren - who are both equally as amazing as Becky. I know that no matter who does my cut, color or blowout/style, I will never be disappointed and having that peace of mind when it comes to my hair is extremely reassuring. Besides my three amazing stylists, I am also always impressed at the front desk staff who are friendly and courteous, and who never forget to offer a drink when I check in. So from the time I walk in, to the time I walk out, I always receive Class A service and attention from everyone at Studio Branca. I will not go anywhere else and I have referred quite a few friends (and my son, who is also hooked) to the salon as well. I cant thank you all enough :)

I went for hair color and complementary hair cut that was offered for first time service. I have medium length hair and fine hair, and my hair is very thinned out. I picked this place after several of my friends had good feedback on this place. I was so disappointed with color and haircut, as my husband, daughter or friends did not notice change in color or hairstyle. Worst of all I was charge $198 especially with complementary hair cut. My friends told me that they have not paid this much all these years they have been going to and I was pretty much taken for a ride. I was not told upfront what the cost would be even when I said that this is the first time I am every getting my hair colored. I was charged for 3 colors - $66 each and no one can tell any difference. Before I got the price shocker, I even purchased Loreal shampoo that they charged $33 and is available between $17.50-$20 on Amazon. What a rip off! I am willing to pay few dollars extra, but this has been a very bad experience overall.

My kids have generally gotten hair cuts at places like Great Clips. My 8yo daughter, who has extremely long, curly hair, has only had 4 haircuts in her entire life. She is extremely proud of her flowing locks, but has a hard time taking care of them. A few months ago, I took her to Heather at Studio Branca (who has also been taking amazing care of my hair), and she let Heather cut off "a centimeter." After months of talking (about haircuts and Heather), yesterday she let Heather cut 8 inches off of her hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Heather spent time reassuring her, boosting her confidence, and, in the end, giving her a fantastic haircut. At the same appointment, she spent time with my 11yo son, cleaning up a Great Clips hatchet job and teaching how to style his hair with product. We love Heather and we love Studio Branca!

I have frequented Studio Branca for many years for hair services. Lately I go every 3 or 4 days for blow outs. I have cut and color by Heather and beautiful extensions by Kathy. I think I have seen practically every stylist! Studio Branca is my favorite salon in the area because is it always scrupulously clean. It has a very nice ambience. The stylists run on time, which is very important to me! Heather is terrific with color, cut, and styling. She has become a good friend and is dependably excellent. Kathy as well is wonderful with extensions and gives my thin hair an entirely different look. Very impressive for someone like me who is over 50! I have my extensions changed out every 2 months. So you can see that I invest a lot of time and money in Studio Branca and I intend to continue doing so!

I tried out this particular salon for a haircut and style and my stylist had cut my hair dry and I was wondering why when it is very long and I had just gotten off from work and had it in a ponytail. It was strange but I went with it. After the cut I was shampooed and later blow dried by an assistant. She started flat ironing my hair, but my hair was still a bit damp in one section. Not only was my hair not completely dry, it also wasnt straight. I had to get my hair cut at a different salon about a week later due to the fact that I could not even style my hair with the cut I received. I also am a very big tipper and I wish I could get that back:( The value wasnt there and I felt rushed and the service was poor as well. I will not return to this establishment.

I had a fabulous experience at Studio Branca and would highly recommend it. From check in to having my makeup touched up, I loved the whole thing. My hair looks great, the equipment was first class, and I loved the head massage after the wash. I walked in, never having been there before, and asked for someone that could cut bangs and totally style my hair. It was all grown out and a mess. The cute, young check in girl suggested, Abbey Manning, who while only a "One" meaning shed only been there a year, was a good choice for me. She was 100% right. While extremely young, Abbey has an innate ability and talent for cutting hair. She actually gave me one of the best haircuts Ive had in a long time. I will be back.
