I went in to mail a certified letter, return receipt requested. I havent done this many times, so I walked to the counter. When the lady was done with her existing customer, she looked at me and told me I had to go to the line. I had been there longer than all other customers, apparently not standing in the right place. I told her what I needed, she tells me the paperwork to fill out is in the lobby... mind you, ive only done sent one of these 3 times in my life. I tell her that and she gives me what i need, then tells me shes going to take someone else while I take less than a minute to fill out the paperwork. I told her I didnt have that kind of time, but she didnt care, she took the customer anyway. He could have taken 10 minutes like the other customers, but she did NOT care! By the end of this, I was VERY frustrated with this stupid person and wanted to tell her off, but I bit my tongue and walked away. If you do not have to go to this Post Office, DONT! This worker treated me like I was an idiot for not knowing their process of doing stuff.

I just had a very poor experience with a failed delivery that the post office wouldnt stand behind. This is a situation where the postal worker marked the tracking that the package was put in the mailbox. Supposedly this was the only "proof of delivery" given. It turns out the package was too large for the mailbox, and so the postal worker couldnt have put it in the box. The delivery managers answer to that was "then it must have been put on the porch". The delivery manager was also rude, beyond all rudeness. It wasnt put on the porch, and Im almost 100% sure he put it on the ground in front of the mailbox. Its a safe neighborhood, but there was a christian recycling truck going through the neighborhood that day. It could have been mistaken for recycling being on the ground. The Priority Mail system claims to give you $50 insurance, but the claim was denied based on the postal workers claim to have put it in the mailbox. Amazing.

This post office is a joke. Never helpful at all. Today I asked for a package to be held at the post office before the carrier delivers it. I was told I dont have time for that. Very unprofessional. Tax dollars well spent, paying for government employees to not care, and not have time in their day to do the job they get paid to do. They get paid out from our tax dollars, but for some reason dont have time to perform a simple task. I wish the USPS would go under and they all would loose theyre comfy cushy jobs. Let these people see what its like to work a real job. Also the carriers at this location wait till it warms up on cold days before they deliver. On nice sunny days the mail comes early because they want to finish their routes and enjoy their day. Rainy days no mail, what ever happened to Rain, Snow, or whatever Mother Nature throws at you, "You can always count on the USPS to deliver". What a joke!!!!!!!!

I have had trouble with this office in the past. However, I feel like they have been making staff improvements within the last year. There is a young lady that works up front that is such a joy-it puts me in the best mood to work with her. She even made sure my new passport photo looked good! This past Friday I called and spoke to Anthony (I think) about some packages that were to be delivered Saturday. I wanted to see about picking them up myself Friday as I was not going to be home. He said they were not in the system yet, so I couldnt pick them up. Bummer. BUT, Saturday morning, by some miracle, my packages were at the front door before 8am! I was pretty thrilled since we usually dont see USPS till about 4pm. If that was his doing, I am sincerely thankful and hope he sees this! Keep improving-your customers are noticing! Merry Christmas!

I made a purchase and they said the item was delivered. I never received the item. When I called about this they were extremely rude and told me if the seller didnt have insurance Im out of luck because the mail guy said it was delivered. How does this work? The mail guy can just say he delivered it and thats that? Im not saying he did that but seriously. The lady was completely rude. I hate dealing with USPS. If I would have known the seller was going to use them I would have offered to pay extra for Fed-Ex or UPS.. no wonder they say the US Postal system is failing.. with practices and customer service like this I hope they do fail.

Have lived in same house for almost 39 years. Have always been pleased with the mail service. The past 60 to 90 days have not been good. Have had to call on 3 separate occasions about delivery of mail order prescriptions. They have been rude and not wanted to let me speak to the person I asked for. Namely, the Postmaster. You have to describe, to the person answering the phone, what your calling about, then she tells you who will call you back, and with an attitude. The front counter people are always very polite and helpful.

I gave one star because the people up front are typically friendly. However yesterday i called 3 straight times to ask a simple question and was hung up on before even finishing my first sentence. I thought she said her name was mary but everyone there said there was no mary. So either i forgot the name she mentioned, she lies to not be traced to the hang ups or they are covering for her. Either way you dont "accidently" hang up on someone 3 times within 60-90 seconds. Ignorant government worker.

These people are as rude and irresponsible as they come. Please remember that they have no education, job skills or ambition; if they did. they wouldnt be working for the Post Office. I have had MORE THAN one item (worth more than $100) sent with tracking, not delivered, God knows where, and they do not issue refunds, apologies, or care. I pay all my bills online, email my friends, and go to UPS to ship something.

Never had anyone working here be anything but nice and helpful to me. I went in the other day to get a passport done and very quick and professional. I had a question today about something I had forgotten to ask so I called. The lady who answered the phone was as sweet as can be and politely listened and then answered my question. Its unfortunate that others had a poor experience but mine haev all been positive!

I just spoke to a woman there who was as rude as you could possibly be. Nice to see our tax dollars going to pay someone to be highly unprofessional. After waiting for 17 minutes on the phone she hung up on me when I asked to find out when a package will be delivered. "Whatcha think yo trackin number be fors".... unreal.
