I called Benji to clean out a clogged outside drain. I will say they helped with the problem but the bill was crazy. The technician was at my house about 1.5 hours but I received a bill for one guy for 6 hours at $180 per hour and a 2nd guy for 3 hours at $145 per hour. Both guys sat in their van on their phones after job was completed. Im not willing to pay for a guy to sit on his ass. I asked for a signed copy of the invoice and then I will pay. I also offered to pay for 3 hours labor but he refused. This company is a complete rip off. He threatened with a lien waver and I will fight it till the end. Stay away from these clowns!!

They were on time and were able to come in the evening after hours to our rental property. The plumber fixed the drain and the issue with a clog in the main line. The plumber did leave the mess behind in the laundry room and told the tenants that he did not have the proper equipment to clean it (a area of about 20 sq feet that could have been cleaned with a squeegee and a trash bag in about 10 minutes). They also billed for excessive time (job was about a 30 minute task of running a snake into and easily accessible line for about15 feet) being billed to 1.5 hours. I will likely look for someone else next time.

We have used them several times over the years to clean out tree roots in an old clay tile sewer line. They were professional and show up on time. We have had bad experiences with other sewer cleaning companies when we tried to get the work done cheaper. We appreciate that they work nights and weekends and had to have them out on a Saturday evening at our rental house because the tenants could not use water because the sewer was backing up.

Drain Surgeons did a decent job, although Im giving them only three stars. They are over-priced. I paid about $5,000 to have an old septic tank removed from underneath my driveway. My driveway was not usable afterwards, and I paid another $2000 to have it paved. Ive had numerous people tell me that 5K was way high.
