I went in the week before my appt everyone was nice. I made my appt and went the next week. I got the braids done and all was well. Until I got home and looked at the back of my hair..a whole row was missing!! I instantly remembered as I was getting my hair braided I saw a sign saying "NO Braid changes after 7 days." I should have RAN then. The braids were nice/tight and after getting them done...they of course mousse them into a ponytail for you. I guess so you wont see the discrepancies in the middle. The braids were 2x as large as the rest of the braids. Some of my hair was NOT braided at all. It was a braid there but my hair was not. It was gathered in the beginning knot of the braid but was forgotten to be added in with the hair for the actual braid (??) Right...I was confused too. The person who did the front did an awesome job but the person who did the back and middle were two different people. The back was good on the outside but toward the middle back it got worse..and the middle was big ugly braids. Like they just didnt care in the middle at all. I was hurt but not angry...YET. I paid for my hair to be done...Tipped Excellent. I got home and looked in the mirror and simple said I will go back tomo. I went back the next day to get it fixed. I walked in and they said they couldnt fix it b/c my hair was too short...my hair is even all over...so how can part of my hair be braided and then this side be to short (??) The owner came and still did NOTHING...Please dont go...its not worth the $$ and the WAIT!!! Go to someone more professional and who can communicate with you better. I was an unsatisfied customer and they did not try to suffice the situation at all. They got an attitude with me like I was wrong...The owner took down rebraided two braids and just walked off. That was the ending result...I left and just voweled to NEVER go back and just spread the word. I dont mind spending $ for my hair..and accidents do happen..but this was just the result of a sloppy job!!! I get braids often and lost contact with the person I trust..however when I find her or someone else reliable..I will leave it on this website...but Please please dont Go here...if you want your hair done RIGHT!!!

Lauren was recommended by her cousin a fellow coworker of mine. I paid 160 for goddess locs and (although she says she wasnt rushing) she seemed to be rushing since she was behind from a late client. My parts are way to big they are not full. I have a ton of spaces. They are suppose to be full like box braids. I did not want to embarrass her so I text her I was not satisfied but I did love her customer service and tried to bring balance. She did not even seem apologetic she just said thats how she does her goddess locs. It is very upsetting that in my 4 months of being in KC I cant find a beautician who is professional, has great customer service but also provides GREAT work. They usually have 1 out the 3.
