Called to get a quote on a specific service they advertise for my BMW the guy on the phone didnt seem happy that I called and then told me to take it to the dealership. Here is what they advertise, kind of ironic. All I needed was my key programmed to the ews because it was a replacement ignition switch with a new key. Bavarian Motor Works better known as BMW has quite the reputation for having keys that only the dealer can provide. A good 99.9% of customers think this and about 90% of locksmiths agree with the dealer only myth. The remaining 10% of locksmiths are high-tech automotive locksmith specialists. We’re here to set the record straight. We cut and program keys to many BMW vehicles. BMW doesn’t even cut their own laser cut keys, they order them from BMW corporate. We specialize in cutting these types of keys! BMW and Mini dealership sign found on flickrBMW keys might be spooky to most companies (read this for reasons why) but we can handle most BMW key copies and key programming between 1995 – 2005 and some 2006. These vehicles were equipped with BMW’s EWS (it’s German for Immobilizer system or drive-away protection) system. We can program keys into most EWS equipped vehicle.

Brought the key I needed copied, and a blank. I spent approximately 1 minute in the store and paid $2.00 to get my key copied. This is such a relief after getting the run-around at Lowes and Home Depot! A reasonable price for quick accurate service. "You dont want to buy our key? No, I cant copy it." "What, you claim you have disabled the resistor system and dont need a key with one? No, I cant copy it." These are typical responses from the employees at your popular hardware stores...but finally I found a place that just does what I ask without trying to tell you youre wrong or that they cant use your key. As a mechanical engineer I can appreciate this simple business model, and would recommend this company for all your lock-smithing needs.

McGuire is outstanding! Their work is high-quality and long-lasting. The employees are professional and courteous. They return phone calls promptly and come when they say theyll be there. I thought I would have to replace both locks to keep them on the same key, but the locksmith said I didnt need to replace the back door; he keyed the front to match it. Moreover, their clients have the satisfaction of supporting a locally owned business. Their strong reputation is well deserved.

The most important piece is the quality of work. They have MADE my year with the ability to craft two keys for my Prius to unlock the car which I have been manually doing for three years now. The staff was super helpful. I broke my wifes key off in her ignition. It cost $80 dollars to have the key fixed including the fob and a spare key with out a fob. Way less then what the dealer would of charged. Plus the employee got the broke key out. I will now only take my business there because of there amazing services and great prices. My family has used them before for 10 plus years and they were amazing those times as well.

From RVs to vintage motorcycles they had me covered. I will not even bother with a big box store. Only once, they mistakenly made a key from a wrong master. In their defense, I could not visually tell the difference. Walked in to inform them it did not work. After some inspection, they corrected the issue, no charge and an apology. This place still has the customer first. Keep it up.

I bought a new car and it came with only one key. I had a blank key with a chip in it and I went in to see if they could cut it for me. Unlike hardware stores who said they couldnt because I didnt purchase a key through them, they cut it. I was in and out within a minute and they told me how to program it as well on my own. great service

I recently bought a truck with only one transponder key. Walmart doesnt have that particular key, and the dealership wanted highway robbery prices for the key AND to have it programmed. McGuire had it done in under 15 minutes, and at half the cost of the thieving dealers.

These guys are fast and reasonably priced. Month later I needed another key and the security module reprogrammed. Left less than 20 minutes later with a key and never had a problem with it or the module. I drive 15 miles because they do it all and quality service.

They were able to use their Scantool to program an "intelligent key" for my 2014 Lincoln MKZ HYBRID after it failed to program "onboard" from two original keys. Cut the new blade and out the door for $50!
