This gym is pretty awesome. Its never crowded and the classes are really and truly for everyone. The classes are everyday but Sunday and they are pretty legit and vary daily. Sometimes I have no idea what Im doing, and the instructor will come over and help me. Sometimes the personal trainers/owner are just hanging around between sessions and will offer help and guidance if needed too. The other gym members are super nice and welcoming and often gather in the juice bar upstairs to chat after workouts. Im definitely not the easiest person to work out with but its been really positive, which is rare for me to say cause Im super negative. There are people in this gym from every range of fitness level and the gym even has a uniquely cool vibe being below a juice bar. I highly recommend it.

Cant believe my good fortune in finding this hidden gem down the street from where I work in Westport! Its clean, quiet, has all the options one could need for a solid functional workout. No silly nautilus machines or Bodypump zombies here - this is a gym for people who really want to make a difference in how they function and feel, and be a part of a motivated and inspirational community.

Poor and little options in equipment, some falling apart. Tiny area to work out in and invasive of space. The music many times is blaring, so its hard to hear ones own preference. At night, many times it is left completely empty, so leaving through the back alley can be intimidating. Communication is difficult, if one as an issue, responses are not prompt. Do not trust The Port KC.
