Hot Ground Gym is THE BEST PLACE to manage your high energy kids that dont always have an outlet that fits their needs. Not all kids enjoy team or individual sports, and some have challenges socializing with their peers due to various issues. As this has been an unmet need for many families, it is wonderful to have gym provide a solution with leads that get it and understand what these kids need. It would be easy to call this a boot camp, but that description does not do it justice. From my perspective, I would say that there are five key components that Hot Ground addresses with kids like mine. 1. SELF-CONFIDENCE Above all else, I have found that the priority has been in developing each childs inner strength. No matter the athleticism of the child, the coaches reinforce the positive growth that each child reaches as they learn new physical and social skills. 2. STRENGTH This one is easy. They work the heck out of your kids, and you dont see any of the kids complaining. It is surreal to see. Kids want to be there. Kids want to get stronger and faster. When kids fall, a coach is there, down on the ground with them, helping the kids recognize what they did wrong, and encouraging them to keep going. 3. SOCIALIZATION Another key tenet to what Hot Ground tasks the kids with is putting them in positions to only be successful by working together in groups and not allowing an individual to succeed if they arent supporting their team. 4. LEADERSHIP The environment is built to help kids learn leadership skills and holding the kids accountable to the decisions that they make. 5. DISCIPLINE I pity the child (mine definitely included) that challenges authority here. The Hot Ground leaders have created a nurturing boot camp environment (Yes....I understand the oxymoron in that statement, but it is true). When kids disrespect each other, the leads, or the equipment, the coaches hold them to account. What is fascinating is how they do it. I have seen it multiple times when they get down to the eye level of the child and have a conversation with them in a respectful manner and ask the child if they understood the negative choices that were made and how they can move forward. The impact is immediate, and more importantly, empowering. We are very lucky to have Hot Ground as a partner in helping kids succeed. I use the term partner on purpose as that is how I have seen my child grow through learning from role models that give a damn about my child. Suffice it to say.......I cant recommend this place more!

I have never seen another venue that teaches kids the same skills they get here. The kids learn to work as a team and they all need to help one another. They experience leadership positions as they complete their "missions," and the success of their mission hinges on helping everyone to succeed. The kids learn to anticipate the needs of others, to strategize, to pay attention to the instructors and to stretch their capabilities. More than once, I have seen a kid go in who is afraid of heights. The kids end up hanging from a bar 10 feet off the ground and leave with a huge smile. The key is that the instructors keep just the right distance, so that the kids can accomplish more than they thought possible on their own. At the same time, the instructors are always nearby and prepared and tuned in to the kids. Best yet, my 9-year-old son has started holding the door for people, and even brings his sister her coat when he goes to get his. Hes anticipating the needs of others and considering what needs to get done. My 7-year-old is bent on becoming a ninja princess, and there is no better training than Hot Ground. Im continually amazed at the physical challenges she meets with determination. The 9-year-old had a great birthday party at Hot Ground. All the details were accounted for and the kids had an amazing time. Younger cousins came (4-year-olds), and they were made to feel part of the action as well. The kids get a great workout, and I get the pleasure of watching their character developing as well.

My 9 year old daughter recently began attending Hot Ground Gym. I was looking for a place where she could get some exercise during the off-season. I spoke to Sam, the GM, and he explained how the classes not only focused on the physical training, but also fostered an environment where their students could develop self-confidence and leadership skills. I was intrigued and took my daughter to a demo class. She loved it. I signed her up right then. The instructors (DJ, Dave and Marty) are great in explaining the task at hand and making sure everyone performs in a safe manner. I love that this is a Veteran owned business. I hope this place is around a long time.

I highly recommend this gym! Paul is a great motivator who is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He will keep things fun and fresh while working your body harder than you thought was possible... And unlike some trainers just because you are a woman doesnt mean you are treated as any less capable in this gym. If you are looking to feel empowered and strong in all aspects of your life try HGG and ForceFit! I love hot ground gym!

We had our sons birthday party at Hot Ground Gym and everyone loved it. The experience was different than any other place and the kids couldnt stop talking about it for weeks. The instructors were fantastic with the kids. I am all for their focus and mission in what they are doing for children. I would highly recommend this this to anyone and for those looking for a unique birthday experience for their children.

This is by far the best kids camp weve come across. Beyond all the fun activities and friendships made...my son learned life skills and will be a better leader because of it. Every day they were active in the mud, getting wet and dirty. They get to explore, try new things and with that comes confidence and an excitement for adventure. I tell all my friends they should send their kids!

My son had an amazing time at Hot Ground Gym. He was the youngest and smallest but that did not stop him from all of the fun adventures each week. The sessions gave him confidence, skill building, confidence and pushed him to be disciplined. The staff were amazing and knew how to encourage and guide him. Overall best summer camp for my son!
