Overall I would recommend Cox Roofing but I do have somethings that bothered me throughout the process. Ill list both the positives and negatives below. Company as a whole: The overall branding and reputation of Cox Roofing is great. I performed a lot of research prior to hiring them. When I was trying to locate the right company, I was looking for affordability and quality at the same time. Cox Roofing came in more competitive than Dales and many others. I was very happy with the service I received from the office staff. It was nice to speak with someone on the phone who seems to enjoy their job and was very helpful to me as a prospect. Feedback: I believe it took a week or two before an estimator could come to my house. Once I decided to hire Cox Roofing, it was around two months before they were able to complete my roof. If I owned the company, I believe this is a great problem to have but I would definitely evaluate my staffing levels. I was very close to hiring someone else solely based on the long wait. Estimator: I had the pleasure of working with Russ. He had very good customer service and was in constant communication with me throughout the process. Russ was very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process. Feedback: The reason for my 3 star review is because Russ didnt notice we had two layers of shingles on my roof. I received a call from Russ explaining this and that there would be an additional fee. Maybe Im a little to harsh but when a business provides a quote and it changes an no fault to the customer, I believe the company should write off the additional amount. Im now on the hook for an additional $400.00 because of this mistake. With that said, I dont want to take away from the fact that Russ was fantastic in all other aspects. He seemed like he felt bad for the mistake. Its also worth mentioning that my insurance adjuster didnt notice the additional layer of shingles either. Installation crew: I was at work for the majority of the day so I wasnt around for the full process but I will say when I arrived home, the crew was very friendly and made it a point to educate me on what was going on. They made sure to ask me what satellite dishes needed to be hauled off and which ones stayed. They also made it a point to reposition a couple of solar panels I have that power outside flood lights. They cleaned up after themselves and the roof looks fantastic. Feedback: I received an email from my home HVAC system saying that my system needed service. I left work early to address the issue and found out the crew had pulled the fuse (for good reason). My advise would be to notify customers this is going to happen. After the crew left, I noticed my Dish network wasnt working. After spending an hour of the phone with tech support, Dish wants to charge $100.00 to send out a service tech to correct the problem. There is a free phone app called Dish align that the crew should utilize when reinstalling satellites. This will help them reposition the Dish to the correct spot. It would have been nice if the crew checked in with me prior to leaving to be sure it was working. Delivery truck: The crew was very friendly and made an extra effort to protect my property while moving the shingles to the roof. They had me move vehicles and objects out of the way which is greatly appreciated. Feedback: According to my neighbor, the crew showed up the day prior but my vehicles were in the way and they couldnt do it. They came a day later when I happened to be home. I would suggest the crew attempt to call customers prior to making the delivery. This will save the company time and money to be sure the customer is home to move anything out of the way. I know this us a very detailed review but I believe feedback like this helps companies get better. Overall my experience was good and I would hire them again and refer them to my friends.

Earnest at Cox Roofing was supposed to arrive at 8AM for an estimate. At 8:15, I had not heard from him or seen him so I called Jennifer to see if he was still coming. She told me she would call him. I called her back at 8:30 and she said she was unable to reach him and apologized. I told her no problem, but I needed to get to work and to please send a different estimator out to look at the project. I called at 10:30 and asked if she had found anything out and she hung up on me. I called back several times thinking maybe it was an accident and she now will not answer my calls. I never raised my voice, cursed, etc. I simply stated I had waited 30 minutes was missing work and couldnt wait any longer and this is how they treated me!!! UNBELIEVABLE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

To all my Springfield friends: if you need a roof, I would not recommend Cox Roofing. And in all fairness we did not hire them, the former owners did. The team they sent out spent the last two days blaring inappropriate music and screaming fowl language even after I asked them to stop, and yesterday one of the men exposed himself in front of our kids and I to take a leak on our garage. When my husband confronted him he said, "I did not think you were still home." We contacted the manager and it took multiple calls to get the man off our property. It seems that Cox Roofing is does not think their employees exposing themselves to women and children is a big deal.

After a botched roofing job by another company who promptly went out of business, we contacted Cox Roofing. We were treated courteously and promptly met by a representative. The job to fix the problem was done promptly and we had no problems. Just about a year later a freak hail storm only about 1/4 mile wide and about 10 miles long hit the area and our house was one with serious damage. We called cox again and received the same prompt, courteous service. If we are ever in need of a roofer again, it will be Cox that gets the call.

We had some un expected hail damage that caused us to replace the roof. The team from Cox Roofing were just great to work with. Everyone from the office staff to the workers made us feel very "taken care of". Thay patched our roof right away to stop the immediate leaking until they could replace it. They even helped with the insurance paperwork, and all for a resonable price. For a bad situation they helped make it a good experience. I would highly recommend them for all your roofing needs.

Found a leak in my roof in a spare room after I was wheelchair bound from a near fatal motorcycle accident. Cox was referred and "preferred" by my Home Owners Insurance (Travelers), Cox came out and patched the leak until they could get the roof installed preventing any further damage and did a great job taking care of everything with with my insurance. They installed the roof quickly while I was at work with no mess. Steve was excellent to work with, would highly recommend!!

My husband and I recently had a new roof and gutters applied to our home. We most certainly are happy with the work. The company was very professional all the way through. Our contact, Steve, was of tremendous help during the whole process. I had lots of questions and he was always able to answer them for me. Steve helped us figure out what would give us the best results for our money. If you are in need of a new roof, I would certainly recommend Cox Roofing.
