My girls have been dancing at Dance Canvas for a couple of years and we are so happy there. The owner, Whitney, is not only an amazing dancer, she is also a great teacher! She makes dancing fun and my girls have really fallen in love with dance because of Whitney. The other staff there is amazing as well-we have never had a negative experience. They really pay attention to detail-James who is always at the front desk knows everyones names and is always smiling, they plan around if you have more than one child when planning recital practice times so both of your kids are practicing at the same time-who does that? They do! The list could go on.. Dance Canvas takes everything that we did not like about typical dance studios and turns it into something fun, organized, and where they really care about their customers and put thought into it. Thank you Whitney and James for making it such a great place and for sharing your love for dance and your knowledge with my girls!

We have LOVED dance canvas! My daughter has gained so much strength and confidence in dance class. I cannot praise them enough for all their hard work with my sweet girl ❤️ My daughter was born with low muscle tone. We noticed it when at a year she still wouldnt put any weight on her legs. We had her evaluated and received a diagnosis of "hypotonia" more commonly known as "floppy baby syndrome" About a year ago, I put her in the creative dance class at Dance Canvas. It was a little rocky at first because she became aware she wasnt able to do what the other kids were doing. It broke my heart. But Ms. Whitney never gave up on her! She gave me assurance that they would do everything they could to help her! Now She is doing great! Shes come SO far, and asks to go to dance class almost daily! Ive been blown away by her progress! Ill forever be grateful for this dance school!! I HIGHLY recommend Dance Canvas!!

I am impressed with this dance studio. Miss Whitney works wonders with the younger children. My girls have been doing dance since September and it took quite some time for them to warm up, but Miss Whitneys energetic patience eventually won them over. This dance studio is also one of the most reasonably priced dance studios in the area. They offer a variety of classes and are more laid back than some studios. Miss Whitney makes it clear that her goal is to help children learn to love dance and just moving their bodies. There is no contract. When we first signed up she told me that she wants children to continue dance because they enjoy it, not because the parents feel they have to stay out of financial obligation. If youve thought about signing your children up for dance you should give it a try! She offers the first class free and helps you find a good fit for your child.

My daughter is one week away from completing her first season at Dance Canvas. We have loved it! Whitney is a great teacher especially for littles my daughter was 3 when we started. She has a great bubbly personality which is perfect for a dance teacher. She really wants the kids to learn to love dance which I appreciated since my daughter was not a fan of tights or shoes at first and Whitney was great to not push a dress code on her. The recital was amazing and fun to participate in as well but there was no pressure to participate either. After doing some research on pricing Dance Canvas was competively priced and I believe we definitely got our moneys worth. We will be doing a summer session which I love that they have and will continue as long as my daughter wants to.

The Owners Whitney and James are amazing and make this dance studio far above any other dance studio in this area. My mother and I enrolled my nieces in their creative dance class, for ages 2-3, they absolutely love it and beg to go ever week. Whitney makes sure every child is included while tayloring the class to each of their needs, she is not only a wonderful dance teacher but makes sure to become each childs friend as well. We absolutely love this dance studio and could ask for a better experience.

My daughter loves Dance Canvas and Mrs. Whitney! They have a wonderful team of dance instructors who work so well with kids of all ages. We have been coming to the studio for almost a year now, its just as great as when we first started! The parents are very welcoming, its so nice letting my child go dance while I get some "me time" in the lobby with all the other parents. My oldest daughter loves this place!!! She feels comfortable there without pressure or competition from others. Ms. Whitney, keeps things light and fresh but still challenges my daughter. Ms. Whitney is also very personable with all her students, parents, and staff. My youngest is dancing here too. She loves Ms. Whitney, and her assistant teacher Madi. Its a good place to be....making dance fun- thinking outside the box- and just enjoying it!

Dance Canvas is the best dance studio in town! Our instructor Whitney is so kind and positive to all the students, and she brings out the best in everyone. I had a very shy child who just blossomed under her tutelage. Dance Canvas also sent ballerinas to the Nutcracker this year and they all did very well! The staff really does go above and beyond to suit each familys needs. Check it out!
