My wife just had her hair colored there tonight. She had specifically requested that the color be even and not leave a halo around her head. However, she had noticed this upon leaving the salon. When she arrived home, I noticed it immediately when she opened the door. The room was dimmed down and lighting was a far cry from that in a salon. She had contacted the salon and was told that she couldnt get in until Friday afternoon for the correction, but if she wanted to move that up, it would cost an additional $20. To think that you would be charged for a correction to something that was done poorly is below any form of customer service that I have ever heard of. She had chosen Ulta because Regis in the mall had done the exact same issue a few months back. It took too many phone calls tonight to try and get a resolution to the issue. It looks like she will have to wait until the morning to hear their solution. Its sad that this wasnt noticed by the stylist at the time.

I went to "The Salon" within the Ulta store. I was impressed at the beginning because my stylist sat with me and really talked about all the details. I planned on a perm and the stylist really wanted to talk about the options. Before my perm even started I heard the workers talking about how they were out of perm so they had a cosmetologist go to TARGET TO GET A BOX PERM!!! (Mind you, I paid $150 for this service.) During the perm, my stylist kept saying how she has never done a perm. While the perm treatment was setting on my hair, she started talking to another stylist right beside me about how outdated and unnatural my perm style is that SHE SUGGESTED FOR ME. In the end, the hair turned out ok except for the chemical burns that are on the back of my neck now. My neck is burned/scabbed from the bottom of my neck to 2 inches into my hair. Not pleased with the service, the workers, or the price.

Never been crazy about this store, not very well organized and they are always "out" of advertised specials, the ones I go in for anyway. For some time I have been wanting to get my brows done, this was a treat for me and a big deal. Went online to book an appointment and the website said to contact the store. The girl who answered said to just come in. I got there at noon and was told since I did not have an appointment (?) I had to wait until 4:40. I did not have almost 5 hours to wait and was unable to come back. I am not sure how to even make an appointment, could not do it on the website or over the phone. And the girl staffing the brow bar was not helpful, she was actually rather hateful. It may not seem like a big deal to others but it was a big disappointment to me. I love Sephora and will continue to shop there, no more trips to Ulta for me!

What a disaster this place is. Theyre always out of stock and have no idea when theyre getting more of X product in. I ask if a merch card can be used online, the cashier says yes, the website says no. The cashier says she cant cancel a transaction to use my $ pts first and that I have to pay, I ask for a mgr and this is absolutely possible. IDK if the turn over of employees here is significant and they just cant train their staff b/c no one stays or what, but the staff is completely incompetent. Its also about a 50% shot that whoever you speak with is also going to be rude. Ive been shopping here a long time, but after I use the rest of my gift cards here, I will be making the switch to Sephora. Its been experience after experience like this at this store and I finally decided to write a review because this is just ridiculous, enough is enough.

I love Ulta in general, but this location leaves a lot to be desired. The selection is small and they are always out of products. Besides the inventory issues, the salon experience was a nightmare. I booked an appointment and came to the store on time. The salon staff told me my stylist had another client and was running about 30 minutes late.This tells me: 1. Client time is not a priority, as no one apologized. 2. The salon struggles with time management and 3. Maybe there are issues with skill level. Frustrated, I walked away. Someone chased me (for real) and offered to do my hair. She cut my hair, which took 22 minutes. No styling even though my appointment was cut and style. She did an awful job - I left in tears - my hair is destroyed. I wear a pixie so there isnt a lot of room for corrections. I wont be back to this location.

First time in this store and the experience was horrible! I was with my mother looking for something specific. The customer service was rude, and even acted bothered by our asking questions about products. We even felt like they watched us like we were shoplifters! Bad experience! I have never felt so out of place in my life! I will never return and will never recommend this place to anyone!

I love the store but the hair salon inside of the store is what ruined it for me. When you wait 25 min past your scheduled hair appointment time and the hair stylist has yet to make an appearance, this is a problem and poor customer service. I was a first time customer so this first impression will definitely prevent me from returning.

I stood between both women who do brows and was ignored while they prepped for a women and her daughter and eventually did their brows. Not even some sort of acknowledgement. I was so annoyed I left. As I walked out the door a woman asked if I need help. No thank you I said. But to myself I thought, too late.

Love this store !!! Not only does this store have amazing prices on beauty products BUT THE SALON is amazing !! Abby has been doing my hair for years and is one amazing stylist behind the chair she has awesome customer service skills as well and does an amazing job with my hair and beauty needs !!

Great experience at this Ulta while out of town. Loved the staff here and would like to have brought a couple of them back home with me! Brittney at the Benefit Brow bar was an absolute doll! This girl is a major asset to Ulta!!!!

Never have I been so disrespected for not wearing any makeup into the store the employees were so disrespectful. I went to Sepora right after and was treated very kindly dispite not wearing makeup.

I recently tried the Belli Basics clearly coconut oil for my eczema and it work wonders on clearing it up!!! Definitely recommend this product to anyone with dry skin.
