Where to start? Number one - There is never any space in this place!! I go here about 4-5 times a week regularly and it is always packed. The building next to the gym has been through a couple different owners, but really Club Fitness needs to expand. Ive been to just about all of the locations for Club Fitness and this one is by far the most packed Ive ever seen. Number two - Just as Corona SaintLouis pointed out, the mens bathroom is hardly ever clean, the equipment is always broken (the main cable towers were out of order for at least 2 weeks). The big Number three - They just started some mandatory towel rule because no one at this gym wipes down their machines. Wish I could say they were wrong about people not wiping down, but its true. Either way, its not something that you can issue mandatory-wise, where they want you to buy a towel when you come in or you cant work out apparently. Even though they havent sent me back because I didnt have a towel, theres no excuse to try to displace the problem to the customers. Its not even fixing the problem. What if someone buys or brings a towel and never washes it? Then you literally just caused the problem. They need to find a realistic solution. Every time I work out, Ive never seen one employee walk around and wipe down the machines or do anything else besides hang out behind the counter or in their back room. Shoot, theres been times where I havent even seen anyone working and wondered if they closed early, only to find that there were employees chilling in the back. I tend to go to Club Fitness located at Olive because of its space, and I dont get pestered for some mandatory towel rule that I never signed for. I know they cant take my word for it, but my gym partner and I ALWAYS wipe down our machines after we use them. And, after they said something about others not doing the same, we now wipe down before and after, with the towels that Club Fitness supplies. To end on a positive note, this is the only location that says "Have a good night" a majority of the time on your way out, but probably because people leave angry from how poor this facility is. If my gym partner didnt live right down the street from this location, then Id never come to this location. If youre considering Club Fitness as your gym, Id say it is a great choice, but dont go to this location (or the Florissant one) if you dont want to be thoroughly disappointed.

This is an unclean, unsafe and unethical establishment! Unclean because of the mens locker room and rest room. It is so wet and dirty that you could expose yourself to disease by using it. Unsafe because the place is so cramped and crowded. The equipment is closely placed and whatever little walkable space there is, there are trainers going about their sessions. You can literally step on someone if you dont watch where you are going. They are right there when you step off the treadmill or get off the weights. Finally unethical because their advertisements and promotions are all a big farce. 1 cent enrollment, 0 enrollment, no contract, no questions asked are all big lies. You will be charged $20+ dollars when you sign up in the name of processing. You will pay a penalty if you terminate membership without 30 days notice. Stay way, dont fall for their $10 price you will pay dearly in other ways.

To summarize, like others have said, you get what you pay for. I will say everyone that works there is very nice and helpful. That was the one positive note. The facility is gross, at times they ran out of lockers/was too crowded for comfort. The $10 a month "no contract" is a joke. If you cancel sooner you incur a fee. To top it off, when I tried to cancel they gave me a piece of paper that says I have to mail in my information 30 days in advance to their office... which is down the road in St. Peters. I understand they are probably trying to retain customers, but how about something a little more simple? I didnt have this issue at Snap Fitness. I hope this review was helpful. Honestly, if you go during off hours when its less busy it might be better... but then again its going to be more expensive.

I read some very nasty reviews about this establishment I just got done with my seven day pass I must say that this is a wonderful gym whoever said that this gym is nasty and unsafe that is completely false someone made a comment you might catch a desiese in the locker room again false its a budget friendly gym with very nice staff and equipment my only complaint was when I first started I got a free 1hr session with a trainer and he showed me how to use a few machines but when I asked him to help me learn to do a proper lateral squat with weights he responded you are getting into what I get paid for as a personal trainer but another member of the gym was very nice in showing me how to do a lateral squat safely again this is a great place for anyone on a budget

Ive been going here for about two years. Always enjoyed working out at this facility until recently. I have a 8 month old son and dropped him off at the child care in the facility. My neighbor was with us and dropped her 3 girls (1,8 & 10 y/o) off as well. The girls witnessed both employees there, abuse and neglect my son. We contacted the manager and regional manager, because there are cameras in the child care center. The cameras were not working on that day, so there is no evidence... How convenient? The better business bureau has been contacted.sorry club fitness, u lost not only one customer, but many more. I talk to 60-80 ppl on a daily basis, about nutrition and fitness. Every single one will hear this.

The Saint Charles Club Fitness location on Bass Pro Drive is not only constantly crowded, but the equipment is commonly broken for long periods of time. One particular elliptical has been broken since July 10th; it is now September 14th. Beyond that, however, I often found the trainers to be rude to members they are not training, particularly in regards to space. They crowd around the only open space in the lifting area (which is quite small to begin with) and choose not to move for members, even when no training is actively taking place. If you are looking for an inexpensive gym membership, this may be a logical choice; however, I would consider spending a few extra dollars a month and look elsewhere.

The facilities are fine, good even, but their cancellation policy is borderline criminal. They use a long and painstaking cancellation process to ensure that you never cancel. When I called to get some necessary info to fill out my 30 day notice of cancellation form (yes, you read that correctly) the person on the phone asked if I was cancelling. When I said yes, they became cold and after giving me the information I asked for they hung up without saying goodbye. I will never have a membership with this organization again, simply on the principle that I dont like my money being held hostage.
