Wendy the owner recently ran an ad on craigslist looking for certified personal trainers (CPT) offering "Compensation: 10.00 per hr and/or split PT Fee". Now I understand cpts shouldnt expect doctor pay, but to become a cpt you do have to go to school and pay over $1,000 for classes and tests which is more than real estate or insurance agents and look how much you put in their hands. On top of that every 3 yrs there is another $1,000 for continuing education, so offering trainers $10 an hour is a huge insult considering all the time and money they put in to becoming a trainer. Please do not attend Main Street Gym, use your money to go elsewhere.

I really like this place. My personal trainer was Alison and she helped me create a workout routine centered on my needs. It is open 24/7, but the staff is not there past 8 p.m., so if youve signed up online, you need to go during business hours to get your card. Its very clean, and all the employees are very friendly. They have multiple free classes throughout the week.
