Signed up with my wife who got the $20 per month plan that included the unlimited tanning and unlimited hydro massage beds. I got the $10 per month membership because I only require the use of the equipment, nothing fancy. The main draw to this gym is the 24 hour appeal. Other 24 gyms in the area are AT LEAST $30 per month, per person. This is a deal!!! The atmosphere is very quiet, which is nice. Not so nice to hear the same 7 seven pop songs played on repeat, however. While the music isnt bad, the repetition can become tedious. Most people clean up after themselves and there is always one or two staff members doing section cleaning, so the facility is always very clean. Now the fun things! There is no "gymtimidation"....lol. So no grunting, slamming weights, critiquing even when presented with injury, no suggesting, no power lifting, no dead lifting outside of Smith machines....oh, and about 2/3 of the floor space is dominated by cardio equipment so be prepared for awkward stares between clients to fight for weight benches. PF is a gym for people who dont like gyms because of the previous mentioned "nuisances". Cardio alone does not make one lose weight. Humans are not Hamsters! I would like to see a more balanced cardio to strength ratio in the layout. Realistically, one full row of tread mills can be taken away to make double the free weights and weight bench areas. GET RID OF PIZZA AND BAGEL DAYS. I can not fathom why people need to be rewarded like animals for staying in shape. Your better looking shape should be your treat, so eat up!!!

This gym is a gimmick. $20 a month doesnt include yearly dues and you cannot cancel within 12 months without added fees. You cannot change your home gym without automatically extending your contract another year. The place itself is a joke as well. A judgement free zone" that judges people they call "lunks" and will sound an alarm if you drop any weights on the floor. I dont know how it works; if someone is sitting in a room jonesing to push the alarm button. When Im done doing any sort of chest presses with dumbbells, they tend to hit the floor because of their weight and my body position. They do have rubber outsides for that reason and you have a rubber floor, you know. This sounds an alarm almost every time and I am not being an idiot, slamming my weights on purpose to look tough. I stopped going months ago because I was extremely uncomfortable compared to every single other gym I have ever used. The last straw was today, trying to call and cancel my membership. Nope. Have to do that in person. Not one single thing has been positive about this gym experience other than the cleanliness of the facility. For that, you get one star. Free pizza and tanning beds. Yeah, thats healthy.

These days gyms like Planet Fitness feel the need for a gimmick to stand out from the crowd. Planet Fitnesss gimmick? They call their gym a "judgement free" zone. ...What the heck does that mean? Oh, wait, I know - it means that they dont have ANY weight scales in the entire building! You know, because of all the "judgement" you get when you PRIVATELY step on a scale to check your weight. This gimmick is too phony for me to even consider a gym there. What if you get with a trainer? How do you weigh yourself and do regular body measurements to monitor progress? I dont own a scale, because I try to avoid clutter along with additional expenses. Plus the cheaper scales never seem to be 100% accurate after a short while. Aside from all of that, the facility is filled with "dear in headlights" staff, youll understand what I mean when you ask them a question.

I’ve been to a lot of different gyms including planet fitness ones in various states. Out of all of them this one is by far my favorite! The staff is the friendliest I have ever encountered. The gym is ALWAYS spotless and very well maintained. The tanning beds are managed very well. The locker rooms are VERY nice with the best showers I’ve ever used at a gym. The staff regularly makes rounds wiping down all the equipment and resetting the equipment. I’ve even seen them go around as a team lifting the machines to sweep and mop under each and every one of them (which is a big deal, other gyms its nasty looking underneath the equipment where it looks as if it hasn’t even been dusted since it’s been put in). Best gym I’ve used in my opinion, thanks to the staff and quality.

Nice fitness center, friendly staff. I just cant get up to the gym often enough to make membership worth it. Now what really irritates me, is that I am unable to cancel my membership over the phone. Their policy requires that I do so in person. what a piss-poor asinine business practice. You realize its easier for me to simply place a stop-check hold through my bank? Its free at my bank too. Morons.

This Planet Fitness is slipping. I have a black membership. I have been taking me daughter in this planet fitness for months. Suddenly the rules changed and my daughter was not allowed in. I attempted to show the employee the "planet fitness motto" on the motto is a statement "all ages welcome". The girl behind the counter told me there are no cancellation fees if I dont like the rule.

I hate working out but this place seems to ease my disgust enough. Always clean, usually friendly, sometimes crowded - theyre in a prime location with very few competing gyms nearby so I am not surprised at the crowds. I really like the 30 minute cardio circuit but its easiest to do when there are only a few folks in there.

First I need to say the place is awesome. The place is still new, and everything is kept so nice. Very friendly staff, but big turn around with a new face every week. Only one or two machine issues so far. Everyone wipes the equipment when done, now I dont have to wash my hands so much.

What a great place to workout! Gy m is spotless and the staff is always very friendly. The equipment is all the top of the equipment and tons of it. It also has hydromassage beds and the best tanning I have ever seen. Love this place!

$20 day pass.... Are you retarded?? If your membership were cheaper youd have more members! Guess it costs a lot to paint machines purple... Its most certainly not worth $20. Maybe a month but not a day pass!

Didnt like the atmosphere that they are trying to promote. Nice selection of cardio equipment but the variety of free weight equipment was slim to none. Also cannot stand the purple and yellow equipment.
