I brought my bridesmaids here for pre-wedding mani/pedis. I originally scheduled the appointment before learning about their $25 mani/pedi special; that price was AMAZING. There were about 6 or 7 of us total. I was very impressed with the pedis. The girls there were very polite, chatty, and helpful; we had my almost 2 year old niece with us and I saw one of the girls carrying her and my pregnant sisters bags for her to retouch up her toes after my niece stepped on my sisters foot and ruined her pedi. My mani, on the other hand, was a bit mediocre. I initially LOVED it and it looked well done, but when I got into sunlight and looked more closely, there were spots where the topcoat was missing. We upgraded mine to gel only because my nails are so thin that I didnt trust a regular mani would hold up. 5 days later, and the gel is starting to peel up off my nails, and that may have to do with the fact that my girl removed my bottom gel coat because it was causing bubbles with the polish? I would expect a gel mani to last longer than 5 days, but I can easily slip my nails between my nail and the polish. One of my bridesmaids came back a few hours later for a hair appointment with Riley and came out of the salon just RAVING about her hair. I also came here for a waxing appointment a few days prior. My consultant, Nikki, was very patient with me and put me at ease, considering Ive never really had anything waxed before (but I wanted to look my best at my wedding!!). She really helped ease my anxiety and despite a few hiccups it went as smoothly as I could have expected (no pun intended). Having said all of that, I will absolutely continue using their services in the future, but keep in mind that they are students and are still learning, so the process may and will not go as smoothly or as quickly as it would at a "regular" salon. Thank you, everyone, for being so accommodating to my "crew"!!

An acquaintance of mine is attending this school and is preparing to graduate. I succesfully saw her for highlights, lowlights, and trims for over 1 year. However, my last 3 attempts at an appointment went like this: #1) I got a confirmation call for the Saturday prior to the Saturday that I had scheduled. Had to correct them. Luckily there was still an opening. #2) Secured the appointment I thought I had. A student cancelled me. #3) A week later called for another appt. I asked, "Does so-and-so happen to have an opening for tonight?" "Sure! How does 6:00 sound?" Beautiful. I thought Id gotten an appt. I prepared to leave work to drive the 20 miles and received a call telling me that my appt had been scheduled for the NEXT night. 3 weeks in a row that no one could read a blasted calendar. And 3 weeks in a row that I heard the excuse "but these are just students". Well, were REAL clients and youre simulating a REAL environment. My time is REAL and the money that I spend on gas is REAL. They think that behavior is going to fly when they graduate and get into a REAL salon? Three strikes and theyre out. I dont care if its inexpensive. And I dont care if an acquaintance is going to school there. They obviously did not respect my time.

Where do I begin, this place is amazing. You walk In and instantly you are greeted by smiling faces. The level of professionalism presented by these eager students and experienced educators is not matched any competitors. I first got a haircut here after hearing about it on Facebook. Im so glad I decided to take a chance (I have high taste and did not want to be let down) but I was so pleasantly surprised. Moriah instantly got a repeat customer out of me because she showed amazing talent and Ive never been happier with my hair. She is insanely educated about the products and techniques the school has provided. Not to mention the teaching staff is filled with veterans of the craft! I have been getting my haircut there for a few months now and come back every 3 weeks to keep my cut fresh! I dont have to worry about walking around self conscious anymore about my hair. The salon professional academy has freed me from my quit shell! Thank you!

Gabby Rivera who is 411, violet haired, a hugger, sweet and generous, smiles wide and many other fine qualities, is an absolute dream to work with. Shes the Salons sweetheart and shes very determined and dedicated to her work. I was skeptical coming in here for a haircut, but this hair-follicle fondling angel gave me the best haircut I ever had. Shes fantastic, very attenuative and open minded to whatever her clients have to say. I highly recommend her to anyone who wishes for their hair to be magically transformed by this guru of a stylist. As I conclude this review she simply asked for a simple review to which I respectfully declined. I say "Nay, thy sweet stylist of mine. For me to describe your work in merely small, limited sentences is a crime. Your work must be written in novels and history books of fashion." So ends my review of sweet and simple Gabby Rivera, the girl who puts the "style" in stylist. Tenouttaten would recommend.

I made an appointment with my dear friend & stylist, Megan Parsons in June 2016 to give me a blowout & style my hair for my big 40th birthday bash that night! I was immediately greeted at the door by Megan & went right back to her chair to get started (after she gave me a quick little tour of the salon that I asked for). She took her time listening to what style I wanted & told me what she was going to do. She made me feel comfortable & had me looking like a million bucks when I left! My hair stayed curly with beach waves all afternoon & evening & I received a lot of compliments on it. I didnt want to worry about styling my own hair, I wanted to do something special for my birthday & treating myself to get my hair done was so worth it. Megan Parsons is an AMAZING stylist to go to! I cant wait to see how far she goes in this business! Thank you again for making me feel 20-something again Megan :)

I had an appointment back in January for a wash and flat iron. Salon was clean and student was nice but she had no ideal what to do with my hair. There was not an instructor in sight and I did inquire. The student next to the student that was doing my hair tried to assist. I basically had two students on my head sharing the same flat iron while one talked on the phone the entire time. I realize this is a school so I didnt expect perfect but couldnt believe no instructors assisted. I paid the $23 and some change but did call to speak with a supervisor. They agreed the situation was not handled properly and they had spoken with the instructor. They also said I would get a refund and an email. As of date I have not received anything. They send an email to confirm appointments so I know my email was on file. Appointment date was January 16th, 2017.
