The prices quoted on the website are different than the price quoted at the salon. The Shampoo, Cut & Style on the website is shown as $28. On the phone its $35. I suggest that the salon update their website as this is false advertising. I mentioned it to the stylist and she said that the website hasnt been updated for years. I wasnt impresssed with the decor of the salon. It reminded me of a teenage girls bedroom...cheap plastic toys, beads, crayon drawings, souveniers etc. stuffed on shelves around the mirrors. The salon needs to be classed up. The stylist did a good job and did what I asked. I would have liked for her to make suggestions. And when I cashed out, I wasnt asked if I wanted to book my next appointment which would have sealed the deal for her. So I didnt and probably wont in the future. The owner should take more of an interest in his business.

Very disappointed with my look. I am embarrassed to show my hair so I will keep it up until I can go to a different salon & fix it. Too bad a cant upload pictures. I showed a sample of the highlights I wanted & it turned out the whole bottom of my hair is blonde. I never liked this color & then this happens to me. One of the worst things that has happened in my life thats how bad it is. I didnt bring it up at first because I thought maybe it was going to show a different way when I styled it my way but its AWFUL :( very frustrated to look like this. I never color my hair EVER & the moment I decide to color it it turns out to my worst nightmare. I dont speak for all of stylist as I noticed that the hair on others was looking good. UPDATE: Im going back in for a re do! Im glad she took me in & hopeful that it comes out GOOD

After living in Miami for many Decades and having my Stylist listen and do Exactly what I Loved, I suddenly was in a Panic when I moved to Vegas. I did not know anyone and certainly no one to give me a referral. I have now lived in Vegas for TWELVE years and tried many High Priced Salons. I stumbled upon a Salon called "A Cut Above" I FINALLY found a Stylist named JENN. Finally my journey has ended. JENN listens to exactly how I want my Color and Cut to look. She is extremely Patient and Professional. Many times I call at the last minute and she always does her best to fit me in. I highly recommend her and frankly surprised at the great service and Prices that always comes from a High Priced Salon!! The Salon is extremely Clean and full of Energy. I was nervous about getting my hair done. Being a military spouse and always moving it makes it hard to find a place to get your hair done when you may have had failed experiences in other locations. I was seen by Emily and she was very understanding, she took the time to listen to what I wanted instead of jumping into it and we worked together to figure out my best style. She did a great job and asking to get my eyebrows done last minute was a stretch. I had another young woman do my eyebrows while my toner set and they came out awesome. I was glad to be in an environment where the stylists work together. The 20% discount for first time clients didnt hurt either but their prices are so reasonable it doesnt matter. This is officially by go to salon and I recommend everyone give it a try!

I would give a million stars if I could, Donna is not just an amazing hair stylist but a beautiful person! My daughters hair was an absolute crazy unmanageable mess, Donna removed all the build up that she had and created a beautiful cut. It looks like a very expensive hair cut models would get and the best part is how little maintenance it requires. Donna spent a long time making sure all the hairs were the correct length and lined up beautifully. My Love was so ecstatic with her haircut that I had Donna fix my hair as well, no surprise Im ecstatic also! We live in Los Angeles and will be coming back to Donna. P.s. I get my hair cut by a Vidal Sassoon professional in Beverly hills and I have to say Im a lot more pleased with Donna s work and of course the price:)

Hair emergency!!! I was so sick of my hair that I was about to shave it all off, but my husband might not be pleased, so I called A Cut Above and asked if they take walk-ins. The lady said that they do, so I went in. Elle cut my hair and did an excellent job. She gave me the cut Ive been wanting for years, but no other stylist could deliver. The cut was only $18!!! Seriously the best haircut and price ever! No more mediocre, over-priced haircuts for me. Elle has 30 years haircutting experience and worked a miracle on my hair. Thank you so much =)

Ive been coming here for about a year now, and I wont go any other place in town! All the girls are experienced, personable, make great suggestions, style to your preference, and always do a beautiful job. I see ❤Donna❤ because her and I get along great, have a lot in common, and she always does a top notch job. My hair is over 2 feet long and thick, so she can handle anything! They can also do fun alternative colors. You seriously cannot find a better salon for the price!

Just moved here about a month ago and seen great reviews on Google so decided to try it out. My hairdresser Sarah was friendly and very professional. I got a haircut and she took her time working on it and asked me specifics of what I wanted and made sure I liked it before we were done. She did an awesome job! Excellent customer service! Will be going back here to get my hair styled! Highly recommended!

I went into A CUT ABOVE HAIR STUDIO and absolutely loved it. Besides the fact that the hairdresser Emily did an amazing job and did it better than expected, she was nice, talked the whole time and gives you the 1 on 1 attention that you expect out of a barber/salon. I highly recommend this place and i will be back. Not to mention the rate for the haircut was better than the other places in town

This place is great, I came here from another salon because my stylist never bothered to show up. The place is clean, the stylists are talkative and gentle. I will continue to come hair from now on even though I live on the other side of town. They know what they are doing and the prices are great. I believe it was Emily, the blonde in the pictures above, who cut my hair, she did a great job.

I followed Emily to A Cut Above from a high-end salon. I now get the exact same expert cuts, color, and styles that she has always given me without the high prices of a fancy salon. Emily is a miracle worker with color and highlights! She always takes the extra time to make sure the end result of any style is exactly right. Her services are outstanding. I highly recommend!
