If i could put no stars I definitely would! The establishment itself is terrible. All the reviews about the restrooms smelling like sewer couldnt be more accurate. They dont walk you through the bathrooms like most other gyms do (even though the sauna room is in there, at least for women) so you dont get to witness this before you sign the contract. The equipment is super old. The equipment in womens area literally has sweat and wear tears and some equipment even has had the out of order sign for the past two weeks. Now when it comes to the billing BEWARE!!!! My husband and I signed the contract with it clearly stating that the payment would be taken out every 15th, well of course that didnt happen! We were charged the 14th last month, which i didnt think much of it. But now I receive a call that my card "declined" and was charged an extra $50! I called and they stated my payments are to be made on the 13th?! What?! that makes no since first off there was plenty of money in there, and I have the bank statements to prove it. Secondly she said they tried charging on the 12th, 13th, and today the 14th and that it declined everyday, funny my payment was supposed to be the "13th" but they tried charging my card the 12th, and I never got a call until today (which once again there is more than enough money in there). So last month when it was taken out on the 14th it was the regular payment of$20 and change for both accts but today once again taken out on the 14th with more than enough money its late and charged $45 and change per acct?! Not worth the money, or the hassle. Staff is unprofessional, will not service you properly and will not disclose all info, and the equipment is old. Also for my membership is a little extra so I can take an extra person with me, dont bother to pay for this since normally there is absolutely no one at the front desk so therefore they dont even check!

Initial sign up experience: 0 stars Gym experience: 3.5 stars This is a review of Eos gyms in the Vegas area generally. It felt like there was a higher concentration of meat head types in comparison with LVAC, but I did not have any issues with any of their clientele or finding somewhere to workout despite how busy it frequently was. It also seemed like there was at least two times more guys than women. I liked the movie room at the Stephanie location. I found the gym and locker room to be generally clean, though the cleaning of restrooms often did not keep up with the rate use. I found the staff to be generally friendly and helpful, including when I would forget my membership card, which happened occasionally. I went in today to the eastern location to talk about signing up again, but was too annoyed and left. The front desk girl stated that I must complete their form and provide personal information including my date of birth, email, cell phone, and full name on order to speak with someone. When I asked her again of I really had complete it, she apologetically but firmly said yes. I told her no thank you, and I told her I rather leave. She did not appear bothered or suggest I met with someone first. I just wanted to know how much the membership would be and get the basic terms. I dont want to provide personal information when I am shopping for prices especially when that information if not related to what I am seeking. If I am at a doctors or attorneys office, I expect to provide such information right at the start, not at a gym. I will try LVAC.

When I signed up for this gym in 2009 I would have given in 4 stars. But in the last year things have deteriorated greatly. First off, they lowered the price making yet another $9 per month gym. Now the place is so busy you spend more time waiting for equipment to free up than you do working out; either that or you use the equipment thats open at the time and settle for an erratic workout thats not anything like what you planned. Its so busy it can be difficult to find parking in the Golds parking lot. The bathrooms are also disgusting. 18 months ago I would have had no complaints. But for the past year the bathroom has smelled like an outhouse. Its ridiculous and disgusting. I dont expect a gym or locker room to smell good, but it shouldnt make me hold my breath and gag either. They also use typical shady contracts with lots of fine print. Ive been a member for over five years but they still tried to hassle me about contracts when I cancelled. There is absolutely no reason to go to this Golds Gym. Somehow it actually manages to be more crowded than LVAC. Fitness 19, LVAC, Club Sport, and 24 Hour Fitness are all better options. This gym ruined the Golds brand for me. I will never, ever patronize another Golds Gym in my life.

Absolutely horrible service. Beware the billing! They would rather make a sale than explain anything to you until after youve paid up and call them on their crap. The billing center is conveniently run by an entirely separate entity that has no interest in whatever the sales staff says or does. NONE. They are in it to make a buck off of hidden fees in their services and if you dont comply they send off the info to the credit agencies the second you utter dispute. Crooked to the core. Make sure to file a harassment claim the second they go after your credit. The billing company does not ever believe they are in the wrong and will continue to bill long after notice until you do so. Everyone in the billing dept seems to be on their own agenda. 3 calls in 2 hours to them resulted in 3 different answers and solutions 2 insisted that they needed one more month of billing to clear the account. Asking for a manger or supervisor met with them simply hanging up. Threaten to sue for harassment and the supervisor came on and apologized and said there was miscommunication with the account. It seems nothing short of fraud.

You get what you pay for, my husband and I have been coming here for 7 months. Front desk staff is usually pretty grumpy or "busy." Bathrooms are always dirty, staff doesnt make people put their bags in lockers so youll trip at least once a day on a bag, No good area to stretch, womans water fountain never works, and womans restroom usually smells bad from the plumbing issues. The sauna in the womans locker room is pretty scratched up and it seems like the boards are about to break. Upside is it is 24 hours and the leg machine selection is pretty solid. At this price you are better off going to UNLV. Dont have kids so I cant say how good or bad the childcare facility is.

I like this place. I like the equipment. Most of the time the employees are kind. However, a lot of the people who work out here are simply jerks with inflated egos. Ive worked out at other gyms and this one has the worst people. Another thing that constantly bugs me is if your ever behind in your dues the person at the front desk will hassle you each time about your past due amount, even if you have made payment arrangements! Its quite embarrassing to explain the same situation each time I go enter gym. Nobody wants to reminded daily about their $20 dollar balance EACH time they walk threw the door. If this gym was void of people Id give it a 5/5.
