Very inexpensive. You get what you pay for though. The hours of operation are inconvenient. When there is a 3 day holiday they close on Monday and reduce their hours for the rest of the weekend. For those of us who prefer sticking to a schedule this is very inconvenient. They will charge you $20 extra a year for a paper id card that is laminated. Not sure why we even need the ID card because you have to sign in? Staff is not overly friendly, but not rude. Cleanliness of the place is very questionable. The womens locker room is always clean though.. I have not seen any personal trainers. I would be afraid to ask for help. The equipment is ok, a nice variety i guess. Many of the cardio machines are not fully working though (displays are damaged, the heart rate monitors do not work, the buttons to change speed do not work on all machines). I do enjoy the steam room. As for billing... holy cow are they inefficient and confused. I am in great standing (never late, super responsible), but when I tried to make an adjustment it took 3 months to handle. I had to get a little bratty to get my point across. The best thing about this place is the other regulars that are there. They are a very nice group of people.. But they have been slowly dissipating, moving to other facilities. If ownership does not care to improve then that is very unfortunate. There are a lot of other options, hopefully we see European Fitness put in more effort and up their game. Hate seeing a local business fail. :(

Worst place ive ever had to deal with I feel horribly for the owner who employs a dumb individual who cant write up contracts correctly then the financial department robs them blindly even though the customer showed good faith and contacted them about the issues they cant do the correct thing instead they try to charge more for the employees mistake and find ways to blame the customer. They may have a pool and spa but its dirty and gross the machines are all outdated and some dont even work half the equipment in weight area is missing pieces .At the end of the day I wish I would of never filled out the free gym membership at a local auto shop but lucky for me I work in the insurance world and word of mouth is a great thing I will spread my story and all the recorded conversation I had with the people who delt with my issue and wouldnt be fair because their employee messed up my contract but Im in the wrong for bringing it to their attention all i wanted was a great place to work . PLEASE BE CAREFUL THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL PRESSURE YOU TO SIGN TO STEAL YOUR MONEY . the good reviews have to be fake ive talked to about 12 other people with horrible experience at this place Simon is a really nice person but his business needs some new employees especially upstairs and maybe somebody who can read a contract right and see how and why its contradicting and its on them .

Getting buff on a budget. This has been my new workout spot for the last 3 months. The gym has a few amenities like a indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and dance studio but I dont use them personally. I come to lift weights and then keep on going with my life. I find that I can knock out a workout here in 30 minutes to an hour depending on how hard Im training. It can be pretty busy from about 6pm to 9pm, but even if I come then I dont really have a problem getting the machines I need and my workout completed. Staff The young girl that works the front desk is named Genesis. Shes really cool and friendly. Even got a chance to meet Simon; the owner; when I was first signing up and he was honest and upfront about the gym and what to expect. Facilities Theres no separate sections for guys and girls just one main floor for all the free weights and static machines. -Upstairs is all the cardio equipment. Most of the equipment is a little older but theyre name brand machines. -Soreage for your belongings there comes from the lockers available for use. However you must remove your belongings before you leave. Recommendation I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get serious with physical fitness on a budget.

Its a Great Gym and it comes with many benefits. As good as it gets for the price of the membership and it has plenty of room for everyone. If you would like to know more or to join its located on Virginia Street in Reno, NV. It doesnt take much to live a little bit more of a healthier life. When you first become a member you do have a year lease with them. After that year is up your membership fee drops and you can choose to put a hold on your account if your not going to use it. As some Gyms charge $50-$100 to use there amenities and have access to there Exercise Equipment European Fitness Center charges roughly $25. Its a Great Deal and The Staff are Excellent! They give you a tour of the place to show you where everything is located and can be accessed by the hours shown at location. Honestly if you want to lift weights, treadmill, swim, suntan, get your hair or nails done or eat some really healthy food check out European Fitness Center. They are an Excellent Team to assist your needs. Overall if you give it a great try and stay dedicated you can achieve top health. Joshua M. Williams - Legion Legend 90 - New Flight Industries

It is deserving of zero stars. Our complex had a deal running with European Fitness Center for $15 a month-month to month with no extra or hidden fees. When I got in I had to pay $20 for a card, that was no explained and the man, Simon then zoomed through the paperwork so fast and had me sign a contract. That was mistake #1, signing anything to them. Once I was all done, I went upstairs to get started I was shocked by what they call "NEW" equiptment, these machines are from the early 90s. The bathrooms are disgusting and there is absoultey NO ventilation in that place, it stinks like a sweat locker, I know it is a gym but every place has some air movement..not here...straight stagnant air...no fans or anything. I planned on going in the pool and once I walked into the pool area I was gawked at by about 11 males that were just staring while sitting in tha jacuzzi, it stunk so badly in there I couldnt even bare to get in. It was a huge mistake to join this gym, I will not be going back and they can send me to collections and I plan to fight it. The city should not let this place stay in business, its disgusting.

I have no opinion either way on European Fitness, as I have never been to this particular gym. I just won a free one month membership, however, and had come here to see what actual members had to say. Upon reading the comments, I could not resist making one of my own. PLEASE tell me that someone else has picked up on the fact that, given the overall, consistently horrible reviews, the two five-star ratings absolutely HAD to be written by the staff of European Fitness. Come on, they had to be! Haha, tell me theyre not! Seriously, I know I cannot be the only one to pick up on this. They are each far too complimentary--EVERY other opinion on here pretty much calls out European Fitness as a rundown, slimy Turkish bathhouse. Additionally, the two glowing reviews share an almost singular focus in attempting to refute the statements of nearly EVERY other post (particularly those that immediately precede theirs). HAHA, I just think this is freaking hilarious, maybe its just me though. Anybody else feel me on this? HAHAHA this is great. Insecure much European Fitness??
